    TRT with Clomid

    Has anyone heard of using Clomid while on TRT? I thought Clomid was only for after you stop injecting. My doc recommended Clomid 3 times a week with my once a week injection.

    I asked him if he would give me something to prevent my testicles from shrinking and he prescribed clomid... i told him that i had used hcg before for that purpose and he said clomid basically would do the same thing.. but instead of the actual chemical being injected, that clomid would tell my brain to produce the chemical. he said if i wanted hcg instead to come back and let him know.

    I know another HRT Doc that basically did that as well. He would prescribe Clomid for 15 straight days every 8 weeks while running the low dose test. So its not that unusual.

    Joe, do you know what the thinking was behind doing that ? Sounds like something we need to investigate

    Yeah, the Doc told him that running the Clomid every 8 weeks or so would be enough to prevent testicular atrophy! Makes sense if ya think about it. If on cycle I would usually wait until about week 7 or 8 to start adding in HCG just so I don't have to chase my balls from to far away during PCT.

    But TRT is a differant mind set. Maybe every other 8 weeks switch from Hcg to clomid and back again and that may prevent the body from getting used to the compound. Hey, I like my balls too!
