    Low Test. Results are in:

    Gentlemen,

I've been cycling on-and-off for the past ten years. I play Rugby, so have always favored big bulking cycles, never interested in geting cut-up. Lots of Anadrol , Dianabol , etc. over the years.

Spent a good long time after my last cycle, about ten months, and did a textbook Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) with H.C.G., Arimidex , Nolvadex , etc. as recommended by Anthony Roberts. Wanted to see what my natural levels of Testosterone are when I'm "clean".

Well damned! My natural levels are 67!! I think that's on a scale with 300 to 900 considered "normal", and 600 considered "average"! Four months later they had risen to 96, or so (can't remember the actual mid-nineties figure.)

I told my Doctor when I started with him that I've used steroids in the past and that's why I want my levels checked. I've also been feeling sluggish, tired, and un-motivated at the gym when off cycle. He suggests that I should allow my natural levels to come back over the next few years (!!!) or, if I'm serious about not doing steroids ever again, he could give me a referral to an endocrinologist for T.R.T.

After my second set of tests I immediately started a cycle of Test. Cyp., Deca , and a jump-start of Anadrol for four weeks; I was beside myself!

So, it looks like I'm a candidate for lifetime H.R.T. What I'd like to know is if it would be worth it to go the endocrinologist route, or should I go directly to an on-line doctor or anti-again clinic?

By the by... I'm 5'-7", weigh 265lbs., and play Prop for my Rugby team. I've got a shaved head and a goatee and look like a professional wrestler, so I'm a little hesitant to go into a doctor's office asking for a prescription for testosterone .

    Thanks guys,

    BigLittleTim

I don't have any advice but I am interested to know more. Did the Doctor tell you why he thought test was low. Did he attribute it to AS or are there other factors. What routes did he reccomend you take?

Using both the endo/uro and the clinic is always an option as you can get your test/AI from the endo/uro (i'm assuming you have insurance since you even asked) and save some money
Clinics can prescribe products like deca, gh, and other anti-aging meds

Doctor was pretty sure that my low levels are the result of extended use of steroids over the years, not from any systemic problem. Permanent suppression of testosterone levels can result from long-term cycling, and I told him the content of my past cycles. He's a little bit more knowledgeable about AAS, as he is a sports-doctor as well as a general-practitioner. He was recommended to me by my last doctor, who has gone on to practice sports-medicine exclusively in University setting with athletes. (He looked like a very short, jacked, Vin Diesel. I was VERY sorry to loose him as a doctor!)

I've got my bloodwork done, now, twice. Has anyone gotten a script from local endocrinologist, and then sent bloodwork to H.R.T. clinic for a 'little bit extra' ? Not that I'm greedy , but it seems that legit' doctors give you very small doses and that you have to boost it a bit with clinic scripts.

I've got pretty good health insurance, so I can save some cash with the legitimate route, but don't know if it's worth it for 1cc. of Test every two weeks!

Has anyone ever hit up multiple on-line clinics with the same test. results to build up a decent sized arsenal?

You could try that route. As many will want to do there own tests as that is how they make some of there money. so I don't no how much money you would save. And you would still be breaking the law as " dr. shopping" is against federal laws, and state laws would depend on which state you are in.

is it still doctor shopping if you happen to have several DIFFERENT meds instead of stockpiling one ....For example....get your test from your endo then hrt clinic gives deca or whatever...I was uder the impression that this would be ok but wouldn't try to get double of the same...that's how i saw it
