Andogel spiked my Test Levels

At the end of the summer I did a HRT cycle (through a remote clinic in Florida) of the Ultratest 250 and injected between 1 mL to 1.5 mL so 250 mg - 375 mg of Test a week for 10 weeks. During the middle of my cycle I had my test levels checked and they were Free Test 42 and Total Test 1080.

My local said that this cycle was the wrong thing to be doing and I should be on andogel instead. He told me to do between 4-8 pumps a day. I decided to do 6 pumps a day. I thought that this would only raise my test levels slightly.

I had my blood tested two days ago after being on the androgel for 8 weeks. My Free Test was 53 and my Total Test was 1240.

How in the hell do these 6 pumps of andogel daily raise my test levels higher than injecting 250-375 mg of Test a week?

This does not seem possible? Does anyone know?

there are a lot of variables here to go through.....i am not familiar with ultratest at all or this remote clinic....how many grams of androgel do you get with 6 pumps...i forget how they break that down...i think there are different strengths as well...but NO usually injects give you a better dose...i have to research the ultratest thing
either way....how are you feeling with the androgel

How long after the 6 pumps did you get bloodwork?

I have been doing 3 pumps at night before bed and 3 pumps in the morning.

I got the bloodwork done 2 hours after applying it in the morning. I had been taking the Androgel for a total of 8 weeks when I got tested.

Is it possible that it was high due to the fact that I had just applied the Androgel two hours prior?

You get 7.5 grams of Androgel with 6 pumps.

I applied the Androgel to my upper arms. They drew the blood from my arms as well, do you think that the blood test could be inaccurate because the blood was drawn from my arms in the same area that I applied the gel?

Is it possible that my blood serum test levels were actually much lower in other parts of my body?

7.5 grams ok......i never knew of drawing blood from anywhere other than arms but my levels would always be higher if i did blood without missing an application day or 2
back to how you're feeling with the dose of gel....or are you moreso trying to see if the injectible you had was bunk?

thinking back, yes your blood work off the injects...you could have been coming down off peak to get that level but 250 mg or more of test is way more than 7.5 ED of androgel but i don't know what this ultra test is ....how much test is in it and what/how much ester, etc.

androgel raised mine from 212 to 500 but nothing compares to my injections with the injections alone it raised mine to 1100 i have been of androgel for 9 weeks been on test e 500 mg a week just doing a little experm. right now
