Doc Wants to Run a Pituitary Test
Is this the same as a stim test? He said it'll just be blood work.

From what I understand he may be running bloodwork to check for LH which could indicate a pituitary problem if it is real low. Most docs also like to do an MRI to check for a tumor. There hardly ever is and when they do find something it is very rare for it to be cancer.
Sounds like he just wants to cover everything.

Like I said... trust your doc... he did 4 years of college, 4 yeard of med school and 4 years of residency... we are talking 12 years or learning.. trust what he says

im quite sure he'll check it with blood work. your pituitary adminstrates your tes levels im pretty sure. or has alot to do with it. if he finds something abnormal you may go in for mri!!! good luck

I had the whole gammet of tests, too. I had the MRI of the pituitary - not a big deal. also had a thyroid ultrasound (on neck) and the fun one.....Testicle ultrasound!! I had 2 nurses in there....I had to think about something else so I wouldn't get "excited".... that kinda of sucks!
