    HCG, Not Running Any Test

    Two years ago I found an anti aging doc that diagnosed me with low GH and test levels. He put me on GH and HCG along with DHEA. I never followed through with the program. After his HRT program fees, blood tests, and US pharmacy prices, it was getting too expensive.

    I've now gathered the GH and the HCG on my own. But everyone I've heard from uses HCG in conjunction with test. Will I see any benefits from using HCG alone?

    Yes, this would help you out, but I have no idea how you would go about using HCG indefinitely. Longest I run it is 2 weeks at the beginning of PCT. Read that too much use can desensitize your testes, and they wont produce any more test. That might be more dose related though, and a really low dose given every 5 days or so might be the trick. Going to have to search for a long and hard for a definitve answer on this one.

    The only way you will know what it does is by having tests done. I have read where one Dr. had success in raising natural test levels by having his patients take 1mg. of Arimidex per day. This lowered their E2 levels while raising their test levels. This isn't advice. You may want to read up on this. Hope this helps. By the way, I have read where hcg will also raise natural test levels, but in some cases also E2 levels. Good luck and get tested.

    Estrogen can rise as the test converts to it, but you can take something like arimidex along with it to avoid that. Thats what I do.

    yes...that's what a lot of ppl do...but just to clarify what fbcoach was saying.....

    arimidex can be used SOLO (by itself) as means to decrease estrogen and raise testosterone levels .

    Yeah alot of us hrt guys are on hcg all the time and dont cycle it. I take 200iu's 2 days before and then one ady before my weekly test injection. I the issue of it messing up your testes is with much larger doses. I think you take much more the 400 ius per week when you do your PCT.....Right

    Spyke, do you think would 250IU EOD be too much to run long term? Also, anyone know of a safer way to increase natural test? I'm guessing Clomid or Nolvadex . Any other options?

    I dont think you would want to run nolvadex long term because it is hard on the liver, seen some studies on that one. I havent heard anything bad about clomid or using a small amount of arimidex .

    My doc says 500ius of hcg per week is the limit. But the hcg alone can shut you down after a while. Hcg mimics LH which is produced by the pituitary gland. After being on hcg for a while you will stop producing LH so if you stop, your levels will crash. If you have not been on for long you should start producing LH again naturally.

    Arimidex is not gonna do alot to raise your test unless your estrogen levels are high.

    This sucks. Looks like I'm not going to be able to use nearly as much as I wanted to. My previous doctor must not have known what he was talking about. He had me taking injections every day. Forget how much his recommended dosage was though. Thank god I couldn't afford to keep up with the program after the first month.

    I was really pumped up about my Pregnyl too. I thought it was the safest way to go. I'd read it could boost your natural T levels 200-300%. Could two 250IU injections per week still accomplish this?

    Thanks to Spike and Maldorf and everyone else for their help.

    Here's the results from some bloodwork I had done last month. This isn't the doctor that prescribed me HGC two years ago. In fact this doctor says my levels are normal. Is he correct, I'm 27?

    FSH = 2.6
    LH = 3.9
    Prolactin = 11.3
    T-4 Free = 1.2
    Testosterone Total = 784
    TSH = .96
