Blood Test questions
Is there a certain time of day that a blood test should be done to get the most accurate results on Test levels? I understand levels are higher in the am. So does that mean I should get checked in the pm to increase chances of TRT? Also does intense exercise in the am have an effect on test level checks in the pm? My last visit with uroligist: Test 326 , Free Test 66 This was a pm test and after an am workout. Age 49
He would not do anything since I was above 250. Putz!

Every blood test lab I've went to wouldn't draw the blood after 10am, and the doctors didn't sound like they would accept tests that wern't done in the morning.
Preferable it would be way better to get a doctor that is smart enough to realize that 326 isn't a great #. He doesn't sound like a great doctor that has a good understanding of HRT anyways, so you might come into problems down the road with other things like estradiol with him.
To find a better doctor go to http://www.lef.org/doctors/directoryofdoctors02.html . Ask the doctor or secretary on the phone if he has experience treating men with hcg , with arimidex , with your symptoms, at your age etc.
If your stuck with this doctor, and you just need to get your tests down a bit, check out the article Your Doctor, Your Dealer at testosterone .net. Doesn't sounds like you need to get down much so, that should put you over the hump for a stuborn doctor.

Thanks Lacey. I saved the doctors directory link and will make some calls. I checked Testosterone .net but could not get there search function to work. Do you know the date of that article Your Doctor Your Dealer? I will look it up. Thankyou for good info.

Go to Yahoo, and search for your doctor your dealer. Should be the first page that comes up.

No problem. I don't know how much of a difference not eating much, drinking alchohol, and not getting enough sleep will make. But you seem to be pretty close to the cut off your doc has set, so it should bump you under 250.
Good luck

Yes , I saw him once before the blood test and once after. He said I was in the normal range just a little on the low end. And I told him of the symptoms too. And he wouldn't do anything. At least I got some Viagra out of it. But like I said, the average age in his office is between 70 and dead. So I guess those are the highest numbers of Test he seen all day.
