Does "Free Testosterone Index" = "Free Androgen Index" ?

Are these two things the same thing?

good question...the only thing i heard close to one of those terms is total androgen index

my second endo had allowed me and wrote RX for 10mg androgel ED when i asked for a bump up from my 5mg ED...then he withdrew the prescription when my bloodwork yeilded a total androgen index that he said was too high...i told him, "but i feel great", and he said...."yeh, cause your getting too much."

i'll have to check my papers and post up the actual number if it might help.

it was actually free androgen index like buff mentioned and mine was 152 with a range of 14.8-94.8
