long term issues with trt
im off to visit my doc nect week as im convinced ive got low test levels. always been unsure about my hormones as i got gyno when i was a kid and have just had it removed.
also, in the last few years i have trained i have made good progress but only because ive got alot leaner, i havnt gained any real mass.
i can quite easily put 20-25lbs on with a cycle of steroids but even with a great 4-5 week pct i losse the lot so its off to docs to get checked out.
basically im not gonna **** about. if he tells me ive got low test and wont put me on trt im gonna do it anyway cos im getting fed up now. mood swings, lack of sex drive etc etc.
but... im only 27! what type of life am i gonna live if i start trt now? a better one?

Im 25, and have the same problem right now. I think it was caused by being shut down, and my **dy is not able to get back to normal. In the last year my levels have been 250, 225 and 440. Check out my recent posts. But with our age, we should be at 700...
My doctor has already talked to me about hrt

well i went to the docs explaining my symptoms, all be it a little exagerated.
he didnt seem interested in my opinions on low test and said he doubs it will even be an issue.
so he did take blood but only to check for basic things, liver, kidneys, blood count etc ect and also thyroid.
he said if there are any hormone problems they will show in the other results and only then will he do a hormone panel.
somthing tells me hes full of shit.

oh, I see HE did the blood himself....so he IS the lab.....so he gets you to come in 2 more times (1 to draw the blood and 1 more for the reading)...that's why I tell the doc what I want done and there is no negotiating....doctors work for us

Yea, maybe not out of pocket - but it comes out of your paycheck just like everyone else in a country with socialized medicine. So you *are* paying for it, they still work for you

25 here same issue. I had to get tough with my doc. He said it most likely wasnt the issue. I said well I believe it is would you at least check for me?
He said yes and I was a 73! Lowest hes ever seen. and that was 8 weeks after cycle with a pct consisting of nolva clomid and HCG .
Thats when I said **** it. Im obviously struggling. And I will most likely be cycling on/off for the rest of my life.
