clomid during HRT

I am currently on HRT by my endo. my test levels on my most recent blood test: Total test was 96.

I take 1cc of Test enth. once a week. I was wondering if I could take clomid while on HRT to help get my wife pregnant. It helped two years ago, but I was doing my PCT at the time. I no longer do cycles just HRT, so would I do a PCT to get her pregnant or just take this clomid during HRT?

Cant hurt doing the Clomid while on HRT, definitly worth a try if you want to get her pregnant

Thanks. I'm a recent TRT patient (200mgs a week of cyp). Doc got me adex 1mg daily and clomid 50mg. I have yet to take the clomid as I'm not sure if I actually need it. However, I "may" be needing some healthy swimmers in the near future, so I will just hold on to the clomid till then. Not sure if I would need 50mg clomid daily otherwise.

Personally I think he has prescribed you way to much Arimidex . I am on HRT as well but only 100mg a week and I only do 0.25mg Adex EOD and that keeps my Estrogen levels near perfect.

What will 1mg adex do negatively though?? I'm sure he wanted to keep water bloat/estrogen down. Maybe I should take one every other day??


And it seems 200mg of cyp a week is on the high end for TRT. Wonder if I should cut the dose in half.

Well the fact is you shouldnt make any decisions without seeing a blood test, it will tell you what to do. If your Test levels are above the top of the range then you need to cut back, if your Estradiol levels are to low then the Adex needs to be reduced as well. But do nothing without doing a blood test first

Hey Kale I only do the Adex when I cycle, I'm on 150mg TRT a week and thought you could cruise with out it. Are you taking it as preventative or do you actually suffer sides at 100mg of test a week? Also, I have a bunch of Letro hanging around, I know that it's a lot stronger than the Adex, just wondering if you'd use that instead if it were you. Maybe .25mg every third day? Thanks in advance.

No I dont suffer from sides, I just prefer to be safe and not have to worry about high levels of Estrogen. You can probably get away without it but Its I choice I have nade for me.

I would never use Letro unless I actually developed bad gyno. I believe Adex can handle most issues that are Estrogen related.

Thanks for the input Kale. Much appreciated. I'm talking to the doc next week to see what he says and probably get some bloodwork. Until then, I'll keep with 1mg daily on Adex.

I will be recieving all lab results asap. Dr. told me my Test (Sex Globulin) is at 64 and Test is 550. My script arrived today and it is one vial Test Eth. 10ml. 1/2cc once week (1st week) then 1/2cc twice per. Clomiphene 25mg daily once. Armour Thyroid 60mg. daily once. HCG - human chorionic gonadotropin - (Novarel 10,000units vial) 600 units SQ twice weekly. He explained the Clomid is bc I may want to have children one day. What are anyones thoughts. (Do I really need to take the Clomid to prevent sides??) Thanks.

How do you get to .25 arimidex ?...my tabs come at 1 mg and the best I can do is cut them in half?l

I would think your doc could write a script for the .25mg Adex. I don't know that for sure, but one would think they make em at that dose.

cut em half gives you .5mg so i reckon you would cut it again
i've been taking 1mg arimidex for the first 2 or 3 days after injection (approx. 120 mg test cyp EW) and none til next shot
and teegun...try to keep the script for 1mg ED even if you cut back if $$ is an issue...i know they are expensive
