Damn Jasa, little tipsy while writing that last post?
I'm gonna go with male, I haven't begun HRT yet but the female Doc I talked to wasn't too helpful. She wasn't willing to treat me because I was tested in at 269 on a 262-15xx scale. Gotta wait till monday to talk to my primary male doc, we'll see what happens than

Fellow member onlyMe may have run into a problem simliar to mine, or was (is, may be) using a common sense approach, which I thunk differently about at first. Me, not normally a shmuck who falls for the spell of a woman too easily was thinking a female type doctor would feel motherly and want to help a "son" resolve his manly problem.....Boy did I ever strike out.

famale won't work because they don't know what male needs.
you need a male endrocrinologist & yuor levels have to be on 500 to 700 thats normal for a male.

male
I am going with male. My regular doctor is a woman and she put me on gel. I then went back to a male doctor i used to go to and he gave me injections.

Male or female, it's not uncommon to get conservative treatments. or different forms of treatments when it comes to hrt, imho. I've only had a male for hrt, but used to have a great female primary. If given a choice, I'm pretty sure I would seek the advice of a male for hrt. If he didn't satisfy me, I would get another. I guess I was lucky that my primary is a sports medicine specialist and he listened to my opinion, and gave me what I wanted.

Well my primary Dr is a female she sent me to Uro he sent me to Endo, Endo was an asshole but two bloodtests were enought that upon a checkup visit with my reg Dr, she gave me a prescription for test cyp with a bunch of refills and gave me my first shot today.
Soo I definately got to give this one to my female Dr.

I saw 2 endos before finally scoring a good doc; one was male, one female, and they were both equally worthless. The doc I'm seeing now is a guy though and pretty knowledgeable. My levels were around 300 and at 30 years old (at the time), I had the normal signs of low test. As long as I was in their range, they didn't want to hear anything about test replacement.

I think both docs are good, but in my case it's hard to go with either or. My current endo is a female, very knowlegeable and honest. Just like natureboy's experience, was very straight forward about giving me pres. for hgh and whenever I go to see her for a follow up, she's very attentive and even makes that subtle suggestion that if I may need anything else, like AAS, I guess she would presc. to be without a doubt... crazy lol. And the male doctors I've seen in the past, all have been super cool with me too, so I really can't say.

Maximus is dead on with the attentiveness my female Dr is very attentive. I guess thats why I chose her over the male docs, and she aint bad to look at. Plus I rather her do all my checks for hernias and what not. Just the way I feel about it.
