Doctor prescribed me Arimidex (anastrozole)

I had another post regarding a little bloating and should I get with the doctor about this. Now it is at least 4 weeks later and he prescribed me Arimidex 1 MG tablets and I should take 1 tablet dailey.
You Guru opinions please. I am only on TEST C and I shoot 200 MG every Sunday. About 16 weeks on Test C so far now I am to start the Arimidex.

Will this decrease any bloating I have? Also the doctor said it will also decrease the Acne on my back. I have noticed many speaking here about .5 and up in dosage. Is that a injectable kind or basically what I have here to start.???

absolutely will decrease bloating....good size dose of trt you are on...and 1mg arimidex every day will get you some hollers around here as most take only a fraction of the arimidex pill every other day...the most common dose i've heard here is .25mg every other day.....best to check your bloodwork as often as you can to find your right dose as once again hormone replacement is an individual therapy and all is not right for everyone....and of course, how you feel is equally if not more important than the numbers...i've been averaging taking arimidex 1mg like the first or second day of my injection of around the same dose of test you are taking....and i go on feel as well...like if i feel nipple sensitivity....i'll pop another that day and it goes away....i'd like to have more access to bloodwork but i dont...hope this helps

Anyway, Keep the dosage with that stuff well below 1 mg, and no reason to take more as it won't make a difference. When people nuke estrogen, their joints hurt, workouts will suffer as it plays a large role in IGF, glycogen stores, and just pure strength, mood, libido, and energy in general. Try .25 for about a week then re-evaluate.

While I am sure you dont like the "bloat" I can safely say that unless you are a very rare percentage of the population, you will feel like SHIT if your E's get too low. Take it from me, there is extreme cases. I took no AI's for months even on heavy cycles, and the only thing I got was acne. Now its ****ing with my mood so its time to introduce aromasin (my favorite) Arimidex made me extremely tired, so be wary, and any questions feel free to ask, this HRT stuff can get COMPLICATED.

I'm still trying to work this out as well. It seems like it will be trial and error. I am taking 100 test e weekly and trying liquidex at .25 EOD. I'm not sure if liquidex is the same as arimidex or which is better or if letro is better?? I can say this my joints are sore and my libido has dropped some what, it also takes me forever to shoot a load and it is not as powerfull and I do get tired fast and it seems like when I drink I get drunk fast. I take the liquidex with an oral syringe, I started taking it becuase my nipples were sore, itchy and bloating, all that went away but now I have these new things!

how old are you bro? and is this from an endo/uro/or primary? I am looking into getting HRT myself just dont know the cheapest way to do it, but damn 400mgs!! thats a regular cycle for me nowadays

Let me say this, I have NO Sore Nipples at all. They do seem to stay Hard alot though. Acne on the back and shoulders, comes and goes. ( at 41, i thought I was long past that stagte of life LOL )
But Even though my chest is firm and strong I notice that the tissue area around my nipple areas seems a little flabby/fatty. that is what I mean by bloating. I cant seem to firm them out. That is one reason the Arimidex was suggested.
Now I am wondering if i should even take the 1 mg tabs per day for 30 days or take a 1/4 of a tab each day as a lower dose.

By the way. I do appreciate you members in taking the time to reply for me in this post.

I forgot to mention that I am also on a low dose of HGH taken 6/1 so not sure if this has any effect on all this.

Still too much IMO. I agree with jpkman and ironaddict. Start with 1/4 EOD not ED or even 3x/wk for starters. You dont want to get rid of all estrogen.

Ok, thanks for the info. I will start them tomorrow and do a 1/4 of a tablet every other or every 2 days.
