Blood results. Test low for 31?

Hi all. I've been feeling pretty tired recently and I had my doctor check my test levels. Unfortunately when I got the results, the doctor only checked my total test levels, which was: 382 ng/dL. According to the results the normal range was 280-800 ng/dL. Is this level considered low for my age?

Since it is in the normal range should I talk to my doctor about it?

You should talk to your doc about it and get to the bottom of why you are feeling tired. What's going on in your life? Perhaps you have a virus. Are you on any medications? Are you stressed out? How ofter do you workout? What's your stats besides being 31?

agree with wolf.....a lot of us are on TRT even though our total test level was "in range"....your level now could be way dowm from when you were in your prime instead of a slight decline but like wolf said, other variable could be problem so you need to eliminate all....sounds like you might need a specialist (endo or uro) as your doc only tested for total test and nothing else? How are your sleep patterns? And you say just recently you have felt tired...how recent/long?
    and welcome

Thanks for the replies guys. I would say that my stress level is normal and hasn't changed much over the past couple of years. Been sleeping kinda well, sometime breaking into cold sweats. I lift weights very often about 4-5 times a week. Stats are 5'10" about 203 lbs and approx 16% bf.

I forgot to mention this in my first post but my doc also ordered a Thyroid test. My tested TSH value was 2.10 and the normal range, 0.4-4.00 uIU/mL. To me, i think i'm normal.

Judging from what i've read about Total Test levels, my levels does seem on the low side for my age (or any age). I'll definitely talk to my doc but how do I bring this particular part of the test up without sounding like a know-it-all?

Cold sweats, that's not normal. Keep working with your doc. Also, check the diet section and work on getting your BF% down.

    Good advice above.

Cold sweats sound odd. Maybe you are fighting a virus or something. Like FMH said, I would talk to the doc about that.
