    Break from trt

Heloo guys hope you can give me some info.

I am 32 yrs old. I have been doing TRT for 5 months already. Started doing it because of low sexual drive, fatigue, mood swings etc. There are no anti aging clinics here so just went to a lab to have my testosterone levels ,psa, etc. checked so after finding out it is low started doing TRT. Now I know my right dosage of 150mg testosterone enanthate /week and arimedex 250mcg twice a week with acne in control now after experiencing side effects before from fluctuating testosterone levels. Before I was doing every 2nd week injections of 250 mg then 150mg. My problem is i do not exercise often just around 1x to 2x per week and drink alcohol around 3x week.

I want to take a break from doing TRT because I want to give my body a break before starting it again after a couple of months with HGH and a weight training regimen.

Is it alright to stop using TRT for a couple of months? Do I need to do a PCT like bodybuilders do after a cycle like clomid and nolvadex even if I am planning to start testosterone again after a couple of months?

    TRT is for life bro

    you cant just stop it.

and really.. whats the point of stopping?
when you stop, youll have no test in your body, and you dont want that. not at all

and what do you mean you want to stop to take a break? a break from what? from test? so you feel tired and shitty, no sex drive, no hunger, sleeping like crap? thats not what i call a break

So this is for life? So it is not true that stopping for a while will give my liver and kidneys some rest? so when I started the TRT this is for life? Not like doing cycles? I am thinking that if i stop for a while than take clomid and nolvadex for a month, rest for a couple of months. Is doing testosterone for life will not damage my body? Or stopping it will be worse? If I had'nt felt like crap I whould have not started this but during that time I was left with no choice.

okay. you need to understand somethings.

    TRT is testosterone replacement therapy.

as in your body doesnt make enough testosterone by itself so you inject test to REPLACE the test that your body makes and to make up for the test your body didnt make.

hence why you felt like shit and now you dont. cuz you have the correct amount of test

so your not hurting your liver or kidneys. your body is running on the amount of test it SHOULD be. how would that damage anything? it doesnt. so you dont need to give your kidneys or liver a break. they are fine.

TRT is not a cycle. its for life. now you can still cycle while on TRT. but you cant just do TRT for 12 weeks and stop. do a PCT and then start again. nope

you will be injecting test every week till you die.

Did your Dr not tell you that you would be doing this forever?
You don't want to stop, then you go back to the way you felt before you started. You don't want that!

Just to clarify because I recently figured this out. You don't HAVE TO stay on it for life. You can always stop it and go back to the low levels you had before you started.

Um no. I don't know what your "doc" has been telling you, but you are on it for life....unless you don't mind hormone fluctuations and feeling like shit and possibly never starting your own testosterone production again.

I started doc regulated TRT at 31, I'm 33 now. I inject myself every week and my doc has been completely clear with me that this is the way it is. I highly suggest you get your facts straight with your doc.

I wonder as well. I just had four weeks off and it made no difference but I would not want to risk any longer than that

Why take a break... that's just silly... what will your body accomplish in the break..natty test level? wait, that's the problem to begin with!

instead, just throw in other gear and up the test when you're ready to "cycle"
...best part about trt is skipping out on the pct although having ais and serms to control any potential sides is always a must

    cheers
