Hair and TRT,

Ok so, I have been on TRT for almost 2 months. When I went in for my test a few weeks ago my total testosterone was at 258 (normal is 400-800) but my free testosterone was 90 (scale 40-250)

Somehow, I have noticed a little thinning of my hair.. I don't think my test is high enough for this to happen... It hasn't changed much..

I am curious, if I am taking 200mg test a week, is it possible that a lot of it is being converted into dht and that is why my tests results are low?

I am also taking Adderall and am curious if that has anything to do with the thinning..

If you are prone to hair loss then test could speed it up. 200 is a lot of test. 100mgs a week is all it takes for me to get in the upper 1/3 range. Some consider 200 a mini cycle. I would get tested and see where you are at after 2 months of 200 EW. I would jump on Propecia asap. It helped my buddy out.

propecia, nizoral 2%, and rogaine has helped me out alot...it really has, but if your prone to it, as i am its just going to happen ....bald and fat= no bueno bald and buff= mucho bueno...whatever makes you happy bro....good luck

can you explain if taking propecia will cause ED when on a low dose test e , or should the test keep the wood still rock hard?

I just started a low dose of finasteride, 1/8 of a 5 mg pill a day. I haven't noticed any ED issues yet.

I am interested in hearing about other members experiences.

dont you also get shrinkage of your genitals on that, I read that somewhere

From the testosterone yes you will get testicle shrinkage(a plus). Testosterone will boost your libido and DHT. DHT can make your hair fall out. DHT blockers like Prope ia/finestride can kill your sex drive etc.
