Important questions...please help
In regards to my situation, I think I am going to ask the doc for some kind of restart protocol. Basically my situation is that I took the deca /dbol cycle six years ago, never did pct and my natural test along with alot of other hormonal/other levels in my body have been messed up since then and just recently starting really getting bad. I also had problems with excessive masturbation and drug usuage which I feel made this problem worse. I understand the logic of not wanting to suppress my natural test any further by starting trt and using the test cream. I actually feel worse than I did after taking the test cream for this whole week and than I was before. I have less energy and my balls hurt and they seem to be shrinking. I think these are sides from the test cream.
I have two general questions for you. What exactly would you recommend I take for my restart protocol assuming my doc feels the same way you and I do and what are my long term options if pct/restart doesn't work. For the first one, I have seen some peope use hcg , nolva, clomid, arimedex, and someone mentioned Hmg. Are there any that I am missing and about what would be the average doses for whatever you recommend. And the point of the this pct I am assuming is to get my natural test levels to rise and kickstart my signaling systems so I can function without exodengous test (test cream). Also, what if the restart does work and my test levels are up and I feel better, but then shortly after coming off the pct, I feel bad again and the test levels drops. Should I try and longer pct after this and then see or would I have to go to test. I have seen people trying to restart a few times. I definetly do not want to have to be on trt the rest of my life and deal with that so I am trying to do everything possible (make smart decisons now) to avoid that. And also say the restart or restarts don't work, is it possible to go on the test cream for say a year or so and then come off of it and try the pct again. I have read positive reviews about people who have taken steriods and then were able to successfully restart their natural test production after doing pct and been able to maintain a decent (livable) level of natural test for I am assuming the rest of their lives. I know my situation is a little different because I waited about five years, but I think as you pointed out still need it and it would be the best way to go about this.
The other thing is that I am overall in bad shape mentally and physically. I am 6'0/300 pounds and while I do have alot of muscle I def. have alot of fat. And I am struggling with all the other sides of low test which is making life very difficult. I thought that taking this test cream would be an answer for my solutions right now but as I research it seems like some people have to take it the rest of their life and that would be hard for me to do at 25 years old. What I am trying to say here is would it be smart for me to take the test cream for say six months or so to see if I can lose the weight and maybe focus more in life or will this actually hurt me in the long run. I have read a post of someone who was in same position as me due to propecia or something similar and the other forum members were telling him that if he started to the trt for say six months and then went on pct, it would be harder to raise his natural test levels. This makes sense. I would just like to see some kind of improvement in my quality of life, however I struggled with this for awhile so a few more months or even years to figure out what's the best way to treat is worth it too me. Also, I am not sure he checked for adrenal issues, I know he tested thyroid which was good, but other metabolic processes might be off as well as adrenal so I will mention that too him. Sorry for the long post, but I have read so many stories of people struggling in their life and the turning it around with various methods of treatment and I am hoping that will me as well. I am not usually not the person to ask someone else for help, but as you know this is very difficult to live with and is the hardest thing I have ever been through in my life and is something that I know little about. I look forward to posting more in the future to keep you updated with my situation and for us to have a good internet friendship, lol. If there is anything else you could think of that might help or test or check, please don't hesitate to mention it. Thank you for helping me and the hundreds of others on the forum.

Well I'll take a crack at this. I'm 35 years old and have been on TRT for the past 6 years straight. My hormones were screwed up by a similar situation. At the time about 12 years ago I was doing 2000g of test-c, 600mg decca, 30mgED of Winny - Had a heart scare and was off cold turkey. No PCT. While I hate to be the bearer of bad news because it sounds like you don't want to be on TRT for life, you may have no choice. I tried to get off of it last year and took chlomid to try and get my natural levels back up.
I have been able to get natural sperm production up twice to have two kids. Was helped with HcG by my doctors who have treated me.
I'm not telling you that what you'd like to do isn't possible. I'm just going off of my personal experience which is not likely. With the cream my levels were only brought up to the 350 range. I pissed off my last doc to no end by stopping, stockpiling the cream, then doing 3 tubes a day for 60 days which brought my levels up to 750. Was discharged from that doctor, and saw the new one yesterday morning. Now on the shot at home, once every two weeks. Would love once a week but baby steps. If every two weeks gets me up to 800 than I'm a happy man.
I'm also like you except I got you by about 30 pounds. I'm 6'1 330 pounds. Like you I also have alot of muscle underneath a layer of insulation.
HcG is VERY effective for restarting your system. That's what my docs used with me to help me have my two children. Unfortunately my levels went from around 500 back down to the mid 100's after about 6 months. Would that be an option for you? I honestly couldn't tell you. It'd be worth asking your doctor though.
The cream for weight loss won't hurt but I also don't think it will help either. I've been in the 330-340 range for several years. I could go lower but it's all about diet and exercise. I don't do massive amounts of cardio, I lift. I feel better lifting so that's my personal experience. My new doctor told me the level of success with the cream is not very high. About 50/50. Everyone see's a rise in their levels but getting up to where you really can tell it's working is more difficult than it should be.
Hope my blithering offered you some of what you were looking for. The knowledge of the collective community here is un-matched. You're in the right place to learn all you need.

I commend you for your honesty and efforts to get yourself healthy again! If your endo is qualified he will know how to get your levels correct. I do believe that if you get yourself healthy mentally that will help some of your physical issues. Like Steve said, you have a wealth of knowledge here! I am sure you will get some additional, more detailed help! Best of luck!
