If you use creatine mono, it seems to respond better if you cycle it 6-to-8 weeks, then take a 3 week break. The only major complaint that I have with the stuff is the water retention. I get bloated as hell and I don't like that look at all! However, I'm taking anastrozole now, so maybe that might help some.

I personally don't think the test is going to effect it adversely or positively, but maybe some benefit if you're already taking a product like Arimidex . Water is actually the reason the stuff works so well, but obviously we would rather have it all concentrate in the arms, chest, legs, etc., but monohydrate doesn't discriminate, it finds the mid section too. When I was real active on this stuff, and even back in the mid 90's when my trainer introduced it to me, I would drink water like a fish, which for me relieved the bloating for awhile.
There are some newer generation creatines available that don't have this bloating issue. However, I tried one of them this summer and personally thought it sucked. There is a link below that gives some good insight to how it works, what's it made of, etc.

There's a few decent explanations posted in the link above. The one main thing my trainer use to sell me on about the stuff was that it worked as a buffer on the lactic acid burn, allowing more pumps and stronger finishing pumps. My biggest area that always has a huge sting is in the biceps. Maybe it's in the head, but the intensity of that sting just doesn't seem as severe when loaded up on creatine. I guess you could compare it to products like N.O Explode in that it's just an exercise enhancement product for letting you push the most out of your workouts.

Well the test makes me stronger, but the creatine seems to bloat my mid section.I have been on test about a month now and have made great gains in muscle size while losing about a inch on my waste.I am afraid to start using creatine and gaining waste size.I quess i will wait and see.

It's good to hear that you're making those gains in such short time. Luckily, the creatine bloat is just short term, being extra water, it won't add any permanent issues to the waist line. That is if you don't stack it with a bucket of KFC or anything Like I mentioned earlier, I am taking an AI with my program, which helps with water retention too.

I don't get creatine.
Using creating is like using high octane fuel in a stock Honda Civic. TRT is like driving a Corvette. Apples and oranges I guess.

U have to drink even more water when using creatine so that you dont get the bloat...I have been using MRI's anobolic switch mixed in with Amped before my workout. What a kick in the ass workout/pump I can get.

I read a study somewhere that claimed creatine causes a higher conversion to DHT.

If you are on sufficient testosterone replacement , well you generally get increased salt, protein and creatine retention from the testosterone . That means basically the creatine is actually MORE effective then if you were not on supplimental testosterone. You actually should cut back your creatine to about 1/2 what it recommends because if you are doctor supervised, they want to watch your blood pressure strongly and creatine's bloating will raise your BP some, enough to be noticed by the doctor and then they start talking about cutting your testosterone dosing back. My choice I'd rather loose the creatine then the testosterone anyday. Also when I am off creatine, I have abs everywhere, on creatine its just enough to bloat up the tummy fat and smooth out the abs and I hate that adominal GUT bloat of the intestines... 20 somethings dont get the bloat too bad but in your 40's... its fugly....
