400 is a good level to be at!!!

That sums up my follow-up with the urologist today. I have lost total faith in the medical field. He even recommended that I completed stop the testosterone supplementation so they could get a better understanding of what my true LH levels are. I had to tell him that if I do that, I will totally crash because I am not currently producing any naturally.

Wants me to go to a endo now. He says I will be an interesting case for them.

more to come later when I can write the rest of the story.

I have a full thread down below detailing everything I have dealt with the doctors about.

But to answer your question, I am currently on 10g of Androgel and it got my level up to the 400's. My symptoms are still present and it just confuses this doctor.

Usual started doses (100 mg/wk, 5 g gel, etc) don't do it for me. I am a fairly lean 245 lbs, and the docs can't seem to figure out that someone who is a lean 75 lbs heavier than most of their other patients (especially considering that I train intensely) MIGHT need a larger dose to get an acceptable response.

Buckeye, I can totally feel your anguish, and I tip my my hat to yet another medical-marvel Einstein who would be better off just shining your shoes for you during the visit. Think about the variances we've read and posted about these doctors. To put it into perspective, just imagine if these doctors were all the sudden given jurisdiction on the freeways. One state would have a max speed limit of 35mph on the open road and the neighboring state would be 125mph. So, what you're saying is ... This doctor is cool with using you as his experimental rat to see how it all comes down? Crashing, ah he's okay with that too, because that's on your clock, NOT HIS!

Tell this doc that he's trying to play you for the bitch, and tell him that you've got his LH hanging in your palm! Ohio State expects better than mediocrity, and I know you do too. Don't let this guy let you think that the standard has been set. There's plenty of places that know what they're doing.
