    Ridiculously Low Testosterone Levels

    I am a 23 year old male and I have been working out for the last 1.5 years without any major gain in size. I got my testosterone levels tested in a random test (at 3 PM in the afternoon) and these are the results

    Free Testosterone --> 4.3 pg/mL (range: 5.5 - 42.0)
    Testosterone --> 2.98 ng/dl (range: 1.72 - 7.5)

    I had suspected this but got depressed at looking at the values. Is there any cure for this ? I am seriously worried ... any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Get it checked as early as you can in the morning next time.

    I have not used any hormones. I will be giving an early morning test and see the values.

    Not saying you did the last time, but make sure you don't get hammered the night before also. Are you dieting?

    x2.... you aren't on any anti-psychotics or anti-depressants either, are you? There are certain medications that will significantly lower testosterone levels in humans.

    Otherwise, if your testosterone levels continue to correspond in the next blood-panel you will probably qualify for TRT (testosterone replacement therapy).

    No one you age should have numbers that low. That's for damn sure.
