Potential start of gyno?
Been on 200mg cyp for about 7 weeks. A few weeks in my nipples started getting hard when rubbed on (yea i know oh so wrong). Needless to say my wife thinks it is funny.
I have no other symptoms of gyno. However, my last true cycle was about 12 years ago and this started to occur then. At the time no one talked about using AIs or PCT so I never did any. In fact I did a lot of stuff for many years with no AIs or PCT.
So I would assume in that last cycle I crossed a line that made me gyno prone.
Currently I am taking Anastrozol .75mg 2x a week and tamox 20mg once a week. I am not educated about how this combo while provided by my Dr is not optimal.
I am about to order from ar-r and wanted thoughts on stane vs letro (i am think letro is overkill) and how to go about solving this issue now AND preventing it from occuring in the future.Last edited by durak; 03-30-2010 at 10:47 AM.

Are these your stats after starting 200mg per week of test?

He needs to run labs before a year other wise you have no idea were your levels are. Test does automatize. If you have itchy nips your e may or may not be high. I had itchy nips during my first 3 weeks of trt and then it went away.

Your E2 looks fine. How about just going with their Liquidex?
Quit scratching your nipples

Sorry, didn't read through it thoroughly. That was your E2 seven weeks ago (Beat the chair over my head).
Yeah, I'd run a BW panel if you can. Go to a place like privatemdlabs if needed. Also, the Letro sounds like the white lightening of estro killer ... Probably not needed at this stage as you stated.

I've confused of this "hard nips" thing. Like hard nips when its cold out? I'm confused.
Your E2 looked fine when you started. I wouldn't think that dose would skew it out of range. Are you doing weekly or bi-weekly injections? Bi-weekly injections keep blood levels more stable and can limit an increase in aromatization.

Also, if it is gyno, an AI will do very little to help it. AI's mainly "prevent" the occurance of gyno. A SERM is what you would need to run to eliminate the possible on-set og gyno. Tamox is usually ran at 40/40/20/20, but I think it's lower for gyno symptoms.

is that in weeks or days

40mg a day for the first week. 40mg a day for second week. 20mg a day for third week. And 20mg a day for fourth week.
I think for Gyno I've seen people run it at half that dosage. Not sure though. Maybe ask the guys in the AAS/Cycle forum.
Some have reported success with this, others say that once you have even the slightest of signs, that it's too late to treat with medicine and surgery is the only option. Just reporting things I've read over the years.

Ok, thought so. I'm not sure if that's any indication of gyno. What's your BF%? Sometimes a little extra fat around the chest area can be mistaken for gyno.
I think there's something about Pre-pubesent Gyno where when a male goes through puberty he can sometimes develop lumps under his nipple. In turn it may make them prone to gyno in the future. It can also create a "puffy" nip look. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.

BF about 15%. no lumps, no puffy nipples, just sensitive nipples. It is not this way off cycle so it has something to do with the test.
I have no problem with it if it is not the start of gyno. Like a said, my wife gets a trip out of it.

just an update for those that care.
I started taking 40mg of tamox daily and continued adex .75 twice a week.
After 3 days my face, hands, and feet started to swell really bad. I went to the masters yesterday and could not completely clench my hand all day and the swelling got worse.
At this point I stopped the tamox and adex and am thinking about starting the stane in a few days. However, I am going to wait for some of this swelling to go down.
No idea what went wrong.
