Aromasin is killing me... joint pain in 1 1/2 weeks of use....

I am on TRT @ 250mg/wk of cyp (started 5 weeks ago).. I was given adex as an AI (Adex came in 1.2mg capsules) and was told to take 2x week (2.4mg adex/wk).... I used the adex for the first 3 weeks but it really wasnt doing anything for water retention/bloat so I switched to Aromasin @ 12.5mg ed and have been running it just over the past 1 1/2 weeks and the bloat/water retention has went away but now the joints are killing me/hurting like hell (shoulders, elbows, forearms, lower back, knees)... I have not had joint problems like this since I once ran letro for a few weeks... so now I am gonna drop all AI's for a week or so until the pain subsides and estro levels build back up.. then I have to decide if I want to go back on Aromasin @ 12.5mg eod or maybe even less or go back on Adex @ 1.2 mg 2x/wk....

Ps... one thing for sure is Aromasin is no joke and works good...

I experienced joint pain when taking Arimidex before. Aromatase Inhibitors are tricky to dose. Bloodwork needs to be done and see where E2 levels are at. Some don't aromatize testosterone as much as others. I didn't need an AI until I started HCG therapy.

You could try to drop the dose to .25mg 2x a week and see if that lessens the joint pain. Arimidex is potent. Not as much as letro, but still a potent compound.

You probably ran too much AI to start with. 2.4mg/wk is quite a bit (IMO), but then the Aromasin and Letro ... Hell, that stuff will basically embalm you.

Taking a week off and seeing where you're at isn't the route to go. Go get BW done!!! ... Simple, no guessing, end of story.

yeah, I dont know why my pharmacy sends Adex dosed @ 1.2mg per capsule???? that was one of the reasons why I decided to run aromasin.. since i had no previous experience with aromasin I didnt know what to dose at so I started w/ 12.5mg ed which is painfully obviously too much.. so in the past 3 days I have not taken any AI and I do feel better beleive it or not... the pain in the elbows, wrists, knees is becoming less and I actually feel more fuller muscle wise.. (I think I was squeezing out too much water).. in another day or so I will dose aromasin @ 6.75mg eod... and see what happens...

They're no doubt a compounding pharmacy, and usually pretty steep in price too.

Do you know what your E2 levels are? If not, I highly suggest running your lab work before taking anything else.
