    doctor cost

I know we are not allowed to post drug costs etc. but would doctor fees be ok? I would think so but if not delete or let me know and i will take down asap

As everyone knows I like my guy and am happy with him but wondered where he stands as far as program cost - this does not include any medication at all and the blood tests are run thru insurance to cover them or at least most of them and I am paying around $1200 a year billed 6 months in advance? First visit was regular insurance and co-pay and included my physical and blood workup.

    anyone else?

Seems high just for a doctor fee. I can see the first time & consultation being up around $250-$350, but any follow up visits thereafter should drop considerably.

How often do you see the guy, and what services/value are you getting for your money?

i don't see him all that often it was a lot more when i started now it is pretty much 2x a year. he sends out private emails with news tips and articles also have his personal email address which i used to use with a lot of questions but again not a lot anymore. He talks about how cheap his program is compared to a lot of others in fla. and out west but i really have nothing to compare it to.

He is a great guy and I have never had any of the issues i hear about here but I have been wondering if i am over paying

My docs consult fee is only $35....maybe our docs do something different??? I just cant see how there is such a large difference between the two.

Yeah, IMO, I think that's a little steep for rarely seeing him and being on an email list.

There are doctors who would physically see you 4x a year for $125 per visit. Of course the guy is going to tell you how cheap he is compared to others. If he were actually seeing you and spending some detailed time with you, I might say that you're getting above and beyond, thus worth paying a premium. However, you're just getting the run of the mill program and he's convincing you it's first class.

He does spend a lot of time with me when i do go in but there just really not a big reason to go in anymore.

like i said in other threads we go over my three page blood work line by line etc. - i don't know, i just really don't know

I am going in on the 1st for a blood draw then on the 14th (i think) for results - maybe i will see how i am feeling after that and doc shop if i am not feeling thrilled (no charge for either of these visits but i think he runs the blood test on my insurance - i did/do get a bill on the blood tests but I call him and they go away - i assume they just settle on the insurance??)
