    WTF? Problems with the wood

Here's a new situation for me -- last night was horny as hell and tried to do the mattress mambo with the wife. Couldn't get it up. We were doing things that would make a porn start blush and I was limp as an over cooked noodle. Went to bed and woke up sweating quite a bit. Pillow was soaked. So, obviously something is a bit off.

I'm at the beginning of week 7 of a 12 week deca cycle. I'm on a TRT program where my normal dose is 200mg EW, but I've bumped it up to 400mg EW while running the deca. Here's what I've got going on:

    - 120mg deca 2x EW (240mg EW)
    - 200mg test cyp 2x EW (400mg EW)
    - Last injection was Saturday morning.
    - I'm taking Liquidex (Arimidex from a research lab) @ .25mg every day. Started that about 2 weeks ago.

    - I'm also taking antibiotics (started Friday) to combat a mild staph infection.

Put all that together and tell me if you think. Symptoms indicative of E2 too high? Or too low? Perhaps my prolactin is getting a bit high from the deca? I think I pulled 150mg by accident on Saturday instead of 120mg (had B12 in the syringe, too, so it was a bit hard to measure).

Anyhow -- put all of that in your super-computer and let me know what you think.

Alright, bro's - here it is one more time...

More is not always better. Many of us have no problem what so ever on 100-200/week with the wood. Many of us see swings either way when you go above that. When I am on something close to what you are doing, I am horny as hell and like blue steal when I am ramping up and ramping down. Add in the Deca and you could have any of several issues though not likely at that dose. I added caber at that dose and felt fine - MOST of the time with the wood, but not all the time. I have backed down some on the t and deca and steal is back all the time -

Just remember as you add more of anything in, you take the chance of throwing anything off.

Ed, I'm tending to agree with the others. Throw in the meds for the staff infection and you've probably got an overload taking place.

Hows the BP? Have you checked lipids and other panels lately?

Suggest backing it down til you get panels done and give your body a chance to recoup.
    Best!

I'm thinking it's the dex and my E2 is a bit low. I was only taking it preemptively because I bumped my test from 200mg to 400mg when I started the deca . I've been rock solid for a couple of weeks after I bumped my test from 360mg to 400mg. So that was about 5 weeks of running the deca at 240mg and test at 400mg. Got the dex a bit later and didn't really have any issues until last night -- about 2 weeks (plus a day of two) into using it. That's probably the right time frame that would correspond with my E2 crashing. From what I'm reading, the night sweats are the other telling sign. I'm also thinking prolactin isn't the issue. 240mg of deca is a pretty light dose and I've been running it for 6+ weeks. Unless I did over draw by 30mg and my tolerance for the difference between 120mg and 150mg is really poor. But that's probably a long shot.

And who knows what variable the staph infection with corresponding antibiotic is playing. Fun times. I'm going to go watch some porn.

*Edited to add -- BP was good last week at the doc. 120/80-ish which is normal for me.

If you added deca and your wood went soft then odds are your prolactin levels are now to high. So I would suggest you go in and get that tested. If your doc doesn't want to do anything about the high levels you can go the route of having restless leg syndrom and get your Pramipexole that way.

Never heard that before, more likely caused by the staph infection.

Night sweats is a very common side affect for women who are low on estrogen

    From Natural-hormones.net...

"When low estrogen levels strike, what results are many of the most typical symptoms that women may associate with menopause, such as hot flashes or night sweats."
Plus I have expierenced it myself when on too much antiE stuff

My estrogen was at 61 and I had night sweats so bad my wife would change the sheets during the night.

Guess it goes both ways. I find my dreams are more lucid and the intensity is expressed outwardly while sleeping...

My first thought was the antibiotics and staph infection duking it out.

The sweating could be caused by hormonal changes or the infection. I had bad night sweats before I started HRT.
Arimidex is very strong. You shouldn't need more than .25mg twice a week IF you need it at all. Your test dose is pretty low for needing an AI.
At any rate, low estrogen will definately cause your problem.
