Done with Body Building, would like to just feel good again.

Ive been Body Building for a long time now. 20+ years. I used AAS in my early twentys for a few years and then again the last few years. I'm 38 now and have been drug free for the last year and a half. This past year Ive been working out 3 days a week and doing more cardio than ever before. I;m a plumber and work pretty hard everyday not to mention Im starting to get a little knee discomfort from time to time. My body building days are over, the get huge and move big weight days arent fun anymore and now hurt more than anything. Ive been doing the 3 day a week workout, working hard and intensly but more for staying in shape and trying to lean up and stay hard. I have a bit of Test E and Deca on hand and would like to use it up and perhaps continue with an HRT program. I just want to feel good again. I remeber the Deca really helping with my knees and the Test with over all well being. My diet is good but I'm not concerned about chowing down the calories as i was before trying to get big. I watch my fats, try to eat lots of protein and keep the junk to a minimum. What would be an optimal dose for an HRT program looking to work for what I posted.
    38 years old
    5'8"
    200 lbs
    probably around 15-20% BF
    no medical problems.
Goal= to stay in shape, lose a little bodyfat, joint relief and overall well being. Libido help wouldn,t hurt either.

I havnt. I'm just going on my experiences with cycling. I dont feel crappy, but would like to feel better. My HRT clinic is not around here but I could consult with them on this issue. My Dr. , which is a primary, wouldnt get it.

MSM for the knees. I've been using for 12 years, and it really does help me. I'd say I'm about 90%+ pain free. Buy the bulk powder stuff online for something like 5 lbs for $50. Loading phase is 10gms a day based on your weight. Two weeks. Maintenance phase minimum 5gms day forever..... Blew my knees out running. That was over 25 years ago. Now, I can easily kneel down to work on my bike, get up off the floor, all without that sharp stabbing pain that you may know about, maybe not yet? And that dull constant throbbing pain? That's 95% gone too! My pops is 72, and very reluctant to take any of MY advice, but finally talked him into trying MSM. I get this phone call a couple of months ago, and he tells me it just occurred to him that his knees were starting to feel better. It took him about a month to notice it, but "what do you know?" I felt pretty good about that one. you should at least do some reading on it, then if it looks good, give it a try.....?

It would be good to know your baseline numbers (Test, E2, LH/FSH, etc.).

A lot of guys could do fine with just 100mg/wk of Test Cyp. Even with that, I would add some HCG , maybe 250iu x 2/wk as a starting point to help with testicular health. Your E2 score will tell you where you need to be with taking a AI, if any.

But again ... It's about BW. Know your baseline and repeat your labs 6 weeks after starting any TRT.

Also, if you end up taking the deca , I would try to keep the dosage ratios fairly close to each other. I would imagine you already knew that, but covering the bases just in case.

I never had much success with the MSN and I used it in bulk powder form also. I may have to try it again. Stuff is nasty though mixed with most anything.

I did one cycle with deca and never really noticed any joint relief I was really hoping for that little miracle. Some do, some dont.

38 and you are ending? Im 48 and just starting. LOL
