    Irritated / Depressed After Injection?

Anyone else experience being depressed or irritated after or on the day you do your injection?

At first this wasn't occuring, but now it seems like the day I do my injection I feel a bit irritated... and that often times goes in kind of a roller coaster from irritated to depressed to feeling great.

This usually subsides after the first day, but I just want to know if anyone else experiences this, and if there's something that I should be doing to avoid it?

    Thanks for any help.

How often do you inject and how much do you inject?

Consider adding some B-12 (1000mcg) to your injections.

I've never had any issues like that after taking my shots.

I've heard a lot of posters mention estrogen levels as being the culprit for feeling like you do, perhaps consider getting some blood work done to ensure your at optimal levels.

I too was experiencing "irritation" about a day after injection. [200mg once weekly]. I too had wondered if it was driving up my estrogen numbers just after injection, hence causing the irritation. I did happen to check my E2 about a month ago and it was WAY up there at 167; but that was almost a week after my prior injection. I'm now on Arimidex .5 EOD and about due for another blood test.

On a side note, I would also break out about 1 to 3 days after injecting. I've since gone to bi-weekly injections and I don't get irritated like I used to, but that could be the Arimidex] and as far as breaking out, that has gone *way* down, but I do get itchy all over now.. It can get real annoying at times. Not sure if it's related but I just thought I'd share the kind of reactions that can come with injecting as a point of reference.
