Do I have to take a Aromatase Inhibitor

I know this is talked about a lot. I also know that it is best to have BW done to determine my estrogen levels. However, my doc doesn't have any idea what I mean when I say I want my estrogen levels checked. (E2 and Estradiol) He is a primary care physician not a anti-aging doctor or endo. (should not be an excuse to not know what I am talking about)

He has recently increased my Test-cyp dosage from 100mg per week to 200mg per week. I am concerned that my estrogen levels will increase and I won't be able to monitor them. Does anyone know the likely-hood that these level will exceed normal? Should I take liquidex? Do most/all people on TRT need to take a Aromatase Inhibitor?

I screwed up and bought some letro, that I am not going to use unless I see definite signs of gyno.(geez, what a waste of money) But, I was wondering if I should use dex no matter what as precautionary? Thanks!!

I wouldn't take any AI until I know what the E2 levels are. Being that you're on 200mg of cyp, you need to know what your levels are right away. If your doc doesn't know what a E2 test, then he should be fired and have his license burned! Go to Labcorp or someplace to take it if he won't do it.

You probably don't want the Letro, stick with something more user friendly like the Liquidex. Again, know your levels first. If your E2 is low you don't need to be dropping it any lower.

x3, except with 21% bf I would say you ought to be on at least .25 adex twice a week to start with. I can almost promise you your e2 wa higher than it should be to start with. But as has been said to need to have the lab work done. High bf = elevated e2 90% of the time before additional t is introduced IMHO.
