It works but is very expensive. If all else fails , you can use it to have kids.

My endo tried to use sterility as an objection to trt. So I told her I would pay for hmg if needed. She never thought I knew about it and it was the end of her protest.

    Hey Durak,

I figured it worked. But was your experience with it the same or different than HCG ? If one has been on and off HCG for a while, wouldn't it be an idea to switch to HMG if they could get it? Just trying to make a plan and gather some intel on it.

    Thanks

Despite popular belief, HCG does NOT help with fertility. Fertility requires FSH and HCG only stimulates LH.

Clomid stimulates both LH and FSH.

    HMG is stimulates FSH.

One should first try a good dose of clomid (do not know doses or length).

HMG is the big gun that you can use (if you can afford to).

There is also the potential use of low dose clomid while on TRT to maintain or regain fertility over time.

Hey thanks for the response. What you say makes complete sense to me but, I in no uncertain terms need any more rug rats running around brother. I am more concerned with overall testicular health and it makes sense to me that if you can afford it, to alternate, or at least throw in some hmg every once in a while. I just wanted some feedback on experiences in this arena of discussion.

Does anyone have personnal experience using HMG?
