Anavar to lower AST ?

I will start my TRT next week.

my doc wants to add in Anavar for 10 weeks as my AST (liver value) is a little bit
elevated. He told me Anavar will lower it.

I thought Anavar will raise AST Levels even more ?

What do you guys think ?

He just told me on the phone 1 tabl. a day (utt) I don't know the
dosage yet.

I have seen studies showing anavar can improve liver function in patients with alcohol induced cirrhosis. However, these are much lower doses then what we use. Anavar will have adverse effects on hepatic function in higher doses. Anavar can also improve fatty liver by inhibiting fat deposition and accelerating its mobilization.
