Refrigeration of HGH powder

I have just been prescribed Genotropin from my endo. I was talking to pfizer and they told me that not only do I need to refrigerate the reconstituted GH but I also have to keep the powder refrigerated at all times? is this true with all GH? I was under the impression that only reconstituted gh needed to be refrigerated. I also wanted to know what the average shelf life is of GH in its powder form if stored properly.

Im sure on pharma grade theres an expiration date. I've always refrigerated the powders based on distributor and forum members suggestions.

The shelf life in powdered form is pretty lengthy. If i had to guess I'd say almost 2 years. I refrigerate both forms, just for safety's sake.
