    Doctor advising T injections

so my doctor told me my t levels are at the bottom of the normal range and said he can give me a t injection every 2 weeks for a while to try and bump that up.

am i going to notice that in my workouts?

can't imagine the dose is real high, but anybody else done that with their doctor?

any PCT to consider or plan for in that scenario?

im going in wednesday for the first one, thanks for any advice!

It would be in your benefit if your doctor would give your shots to you at least 1x per week, or better yet if he would send you home with your own script so that you don't have to pay for his office visits every time you need a shot.

Not sure why you're throwing the thought of PCT into the mix. If you're going on TRT then that's because your natural levels are low and probably will always be low. If there's hope of restoring your natural levels then you should be trying to run a PCT now. If you are committing to TRT then understand that it is for the long-haul.

What's your age & other stats if you don't mind me asking? Any suspicions as to why your "T" is low?

So I'm confused, I've read a good number of articles on TRT and on running cycles, my confusion is this. If you run a cycle you have to wait for your natural T to come back up to normal after the cycle. If you go on TRT your natural production tapers off the same but does it then not come back if you quit TRT?

Don't understand why cycles are temporary and TRT is a liftime decision???

For my particular case, still leading a normal life, on the threshold of when TRT is essential I figure why not? Doc assisted, extra bump. Am I missing something? Won't my levels just be higher than what I'm used to for the next 8-12 weeks until I say thanks doc feel great and go back to my normally lower levels?

People on TRT are generally on it because their bodies don't produce enough natural testosterone . That's why it's a lifetime commitment. Not sure what your point of 8-12 weeks of TRT and then going back to your low levels would be. Sounds like you're more interested in cycling large doses for gym gains, where as TRT is more for quality of life and health conditions that spawn from low natural testosterone levels (libido, energy, recovery time, fat deposits, gyno, hypogonadism, etc).

Exactly. If you committ to this your on for life if you want to maintain healthy levels. If not look into restoring your natural testosterone or finding the cause for your hypogonadism.

Hello all. My doctor put me on androgel here in California. Didn't do one thing. My numbers went up 4 pts from 236 to 240 I am 40yo.

I have tbol at home and was thinking if he won't give me injections. He knows nothing about this stuff. His answer is lose weight. I am not fat. Could lose 10lbs but decent shape. Will Tbol raise my testosterone ?
