    Opinions on my Dr's decision

ok, i need some opinions on what you guys think i should do here.. (i know were not dr's, but alot of you are VERY knowledgable here.)

Went on TRT 6 weeks ago.. Originally, my T levels where 205... My dr wanted me taking 200mg every 2 weeks of test C.. I talked him into letting me instead go 100mg/week to keep things a little more stable.. I just had blood work done and my test levels came back at an even 900... I feel great to say the least.. He's now telling me he wants me to back down to 50mg/week. The last thing i want is to be on a hormonal roller coaster.. what to do? should i listen to him? 50mg week seems SUPER LOW

900 is at the high end of the optimal range.

you have more control than you think. tell your doc you are fine where you are at and don't feel like experimenting right now. There is a big differeence between a normal range and an optimal range. your doc is thinking in terms of a normal range. for me, at 48, the normal range is pretty far from the optimal range.

don't be afraid of telling your doc "No".
