Test results
I got a copy of my test results and I can't make any sense of them using the info I have found on the forums.
XFREETESTO. 102.5
SEX HOR BG. 37
REF TESTOS. 666
FR TEST%. 1.54
Not real sure what else I should be looking at or what else needs to be tested.
Please help,

The ranges don't match with anything that I have seen on here.

It makes sense. The SHBG (Sex Hor Bg) it tying up some of your free testosterone . Your free test would increase if you were to lower this number. Your number isn't bad, but it won't hurt if it comes up just a little to 2% or 3%. You can add some stinging nettle root to help with this.
Your total test serum is the 666 number (kind of spooky). That's pretty much in the middle.
I don't see where they tested your estradiol. Do you know if this has been tested? Can you tell us your stats and a little more about your TRT program?

31 years old
6'4"
178 .
200mg/ml Test Cyp eow
Nolvadex 10mg 2x daily
And I got a Rx for hCG but I don't know where to get it filled
I'm gonna add the stinging nettle root if I can find it.
He didn't test my estradiol level but I'm gonna have him do it when he runs my next blood work in 4 weeks.
Thanks for your help,

Don't know where you're at, but take your prescription to any compounding pharmacy and they will be able to fill it for you. There's even some good ones online that will take your script.
On the E2 ... You're not going to like what I have to say, but STOP. Go get your E2 test before you start taking these meds (period). Not 4 weeks from today, but now!!! you need a baseline going into this and you're going to need to have some AI on hand, even if it isn't needed immediately. Your next set of labs should be in 6 weeks after everything gets started.Last edited by Vettester; 09-14-2010 at 08:22 PM.

It's part of the estrogen panels, better known as Estradiol.

You will find quite a few doctors that don't run this, because they don't think it's necessary. I know, I had one of these types when I started out. I wish I had found this forum before I started TRT!
Starting your program off on the right foot is the best thing you can do. You will be pleased that you did so down the road!

Thank you. You have been very helpful and I truly appreciate all of your help.
I'm gonna try some of the pharmacies in the surrounding area to se if I can find one that carries HCG .

Found somewhere to fill my hCG locally. Feeling better, got my appetite back, and slept like a baby last night. I know things will have to be adjusted later but for now, things are looking better

I'm going to get my Estrogen panel. I haven't taken anything else aside from the Nolva.

Got my estrogen panel done and the doc said everything is g2g. I have been kinda freaked out about it since then though. I've gotten emotional about silly things like tv shows. I haven't had any problems this week but I'm only taking the Nolva and the hCG this week. I guess I will probably have a better idea about everything next week. I'm starting to look at a.i's but I don't know which will fit mr best in case this issue persists. Any help would be appreciated.

OK, glad you got the panel, BUT ... "g2g" doesn't tell us anything. What was your lab result? Your doctor should have disclosed that to you. Your score could be 75 and he might think "g2g", but that wouldn't be the case. Please let us know your score to help give you a better idea where you need to be on the AI.
Thanks

Yes, please do. Tell the doctor that you want copied on all future panels. It's not his little secret, those labs belong to you.
