LAB RESUlts and a trip to the endo tomorrow

Decipher this for me…

TSH HIGH SENSITIVITY 4.51 REFERENCE RANGE IS .45 TO 4.5

T4 FREE NON DIALYSIS 1.0 REFERNCE RANGE .8 TO 1.7

Test. Total and Free 408 Reference range 250-1100

% Free test 3.21% reference range 1.5 – 2.2%

Testosterone free 131.1 reference range 35.0 to 155.0

I have been using 150mg test cypionate every 7 days

The Endocrinologist told me to reduce the dosage to 100mg every 7 days because 150 =mg is to much in his opinion…

Looking at these numbers is he full of shit

I think I'd be on the hunt for a new endo, or a good clinic. That score is already low and he wants to reduce your dosage by 1/3?

i just cant figure all these moderate to low total test levels on 150mg of test and/or greater a week....that just puzzles me

Probably because a LOT of people try to schedule it so that when they get their bloodwork done, it's as far away from their last injection as possible in the hopes of getting a higher T script. I have friends who will even skip an injection to make it even lower.

i think ur spot on frawnz...

i waited 18 days post injection and had TT Level of 555..

although his free test was nice..

i guess the doc didnt like the free %?????

jeepers...should have asked...when did u give blood for this last test in relation to injection

Granted I do wait a little longer between lab test ( maybe 3 extra days )

What do these numbers tell you guys…. I’d like my total test number to be around 700….

I have some thyroid issues as well could that attribute to the higher than normal % Free Testosterone

just used to hearing about higher total test on 150mg, etc....so youre like waiting til day 10 to do blood?

I'm hitting around the 700 mark doing 100mg every 5 days, and your free test % is higher than mine. Test C peaks at like 24-48 hours post injection and rapidly falls off after day 5, so unless you do an accurate blood work, it's gonna be pretty hard to tell where you actually are when you're following your normal injection cycle.

UPDATE....

doc put me at 100mg every 5 days... wrote me a script for a 90 day supply.

He was not concerned abouthte % free test at 3.21% adn seemed to like the 131.1 Test free overall number.. Told me not to worry to much about hte test total and free number because my fee number was high. Took blood again today to check the usuals... TSH/ Prostate CBC , the whole 6 vials worth
