my anti-aging Doc thinks TRT is not for life once your on.

Here is a quick break down of my history.

I have been on TRT going on 9 months now. The first 8 months I was taking test from a local source and did not have a script for it because the first couple regular doctors I went to said I was to young and tried telling me that my levels were normal. My total test was 284 and neither of them ran free test or checked my estrogen levels since they said " it was not needed"

SO I went to a anti-aging doctor and she put me on test cyp right away after seeing my previous blood work from the other docs. She told me the last time I was there that she wanted to try and get me off the test after 6 months of being on it I told her that it does not work that way because TRT was for life and since I have been on my quality of life has been the best its been in 10-12 years. I told her if I came off my test levels would drop lower than before and I would crash really hard. And I ran a risk of never restarting my natty test production etc.

I thought I would ask you guys for some advice on what to tell her and how to prove my point.

    stats just incase

    33 years old

    6'3"

    240 pounds

    14-15% bf currently

never ran any gear or ph prior to going on TRT

my GP doesn't even call it TRT. And he said he won't guarantee treatment to be indefinate. He wants to test my blood levels in three months and reevaluate. Since i'm cyp eow, and the test will be right before an injection, care to guess where my blood levels will be? My GP seems to be clueless, but was decent enough to write the Rx.

6'3" and 240 is not small by any measure. I understand the quality of life statement, mine is def better when on cycle. I have to ask, however, at 33 do you really want to committ to a TRT regiment for the rest of your life? I am not saying you shouldn't I am simply asking are you sure you want to deal with that forever. If so, start looking for a new clinic. There are plenty out there that will keep you on as long as you please.

If I had my choice I rather not stay on TRT for life. But At 33 what are the chances of my natural testosterone production producing enough test to keep me in the real normal range and not under 300 ? And I do plan on running a cycle or 2 in the future .

Yea, it don't make sense why a AA doctor would put you on test, only to take you off down the road. It isn't like this stuff is a band-aid or anit-biotic that will cure your problem. It is exactly what it says "Testosterone Replacement " ... Why can't these doctors figure out that this means you need testosterone because your body isn't producing endogenous test. Do they think that your body will magically start making it again if they just give you a 6 month fix of the stuff???

It sounds like you want to be on TRT permenantly...

Are you rpimary or secondary? If secondary of course rekicking normal homrone production would be more beneficial..

However you know you have problems and still want to risk cycles ****ing everything...

Of course you can come off trt if you are secondary and you can get good levels. But it doesnt sound like thats what you want to do anyway.

She kinda treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about and said that there was no reason why I person at my age should be producing enough test. She said that it could have been caused by stress or all the weed I smoke from time to time.

I will. But I would like to be able to educate her for she does not try to do the same thing to her current and future patients.

284 was the total test from my first and only blood work. The second Dr I went to a few weeks later gave me my orders for new blood work after I brought in copies of my first blood work. But when he gave me my orders he refused to request a free test and estrogen test so I never went to get it done because it would have been a waist.

Sorry for my ignorance but I don't know what primary and secondary means in this subject . I know as much reading and research that I have done on this subject I probably should know.
    k

And yes, I guess deep down I want to stay on for life.
