The Clomid experiment
I took 50mg of clomid for 6 days in a row.
I did bloodwork a few days before and also on the 6th day of Clomid.
Before:
Progesterone: 0.4088 ng/ml (1.3 nmol/L)
Estradiol (E2): 18.5235 pg/ml (68 pmol/L)
Total Testosterone : 210ng/dl (7.31 nmol/L)
SHBG: 19.8 nmol/L
Calc. Free Testosterone: 6.34 ng/dl (0.22 nmol/L)
FSH: 3.2 U/L
LH: 4.7 U/L
Prolactin: 3.8 ng/ml
After:
Progesterone: 0.5346 ng/ml (1.7 nmol/L)
Estradiol (E2): 28.6 pg/ml (105 pmol/L)
Total Testosterone: 446.86 ng/dl (15.5 nmol/L)
SHBG: 24.3 nmol/L
Calc. Free Testosterone: 10.86 ng/dl (0.377 nmol/L)
FSH: 4.4 U/L
LH: 2.9 U/L
Prolactin: 5 ng/ml
Conclusion:
Everything went UP except LH which came down a lot!
Is this right? I thought Clomid indirectly increases LH? am I missing something here? Can someone please try and explain what happened? :-)
