Joint Pain
I've been doing some research and found that Test Cyp can inhibit collagen production and in turn cause tendons to become brittle.
I've been on TRT for almost a year now and have had knee pain (that I've not had before) and recently the tendon that goes right across the ankle has been hurting so bad I can't even touch it without pain.
Is there any way to combat this? I'm already taking Osteo Bi Flex for my joints and it doesn't seem to be helping.
Both of these injuries came from doing mild cardio BTW, not even from weight exercises.
I hope I can do something about this, otherwise I don't know if I can continue with TRT.
Thanks for any info.

Try some deca at 200mgs per week if your doc will write you a script.

I already take Omega 3s, are there others you guys use?
Is Deca something that people on testosterone replacement normally take?
I'm not a bodybuilder or anything, though I do workout and have been working out for years.
I'm on HRT because of very low testosterone levels that lead to depression and other problems.

Normal is always relative, right? I've run across many people on HRT that use Nandrolone for joint and/or bone issues. In my limited experience so far, I've talked with quite a few HRT clinics and Dr's and have worked with two different one's, and they all advocate Nandrolone if it makes sense for the patient.
Nandrolone was researched more extensively over the past years and it has been proven to help with osteoperosis, bone density problems and joint issues/degeneration.

Deca does a good job for me to temporarily alleviate the joint pain issues but I've experienced no long term or permanent benefits. I ran a 12 week cycle earlier this year and was impressed with the effect on me osteoarthritis in my knees, but within 4-6 weeks after cycling off the deca I was right back in the same spot as before I'd started. I'm running another cycle now -- we'll see how it goes but I'm not expecting any extended benefits. Is it worth it? Deca does have side effects -- deca dick is common so you need to run test along with it and most people usually have to run an elevated test dose over their normal TRT dose to compensate for those side effects of the deca. It also increases chances of blood pressure issues. My cardio capacity goes to hell any time I run a 19-nor and deca is no exception. I have tried running deca at 300mg and 200 mg EW to see what my lowest effective dose is for pain relief -- 300mg is as low as I can go. I'd like to run just 200mg (less side effects) but it wasn't very effective for me after 6 weeks at that dose.
YMMV.

Adequan, Aprotinin, Cynatine, Hyaluronic Acid, Long R3-IGF-1, all good for joints man. Take a gander if you have time.
