Out of state therepy
So I am curious now about the out of state Dr. What would the benifits of using out of state Dr. be? Denial from Dr. that OP went to the first time?I saw in Frawnz post that the guidlines are easier than "where"? For Instance I live in So.Cal. would I have a better chance here or Fla.?I thought that trt/hrt was based on numbers? is the accepted # higher in Fla.?Also I thought the Dr. had to administer the tes. or is it just prescribed and self medicated? How would they monitor you from out of state?I know that is a bunch of questions but am starting to think that I am perfect candidate for this kind of therapy..After reading descriptions, symptoms and outlines from anti aging Dr. online.Low Testosterone would explain a lot of issues that I have noticed to be getting more complex/worse.
BTW I am going to 41 this year.

Different states have different laws governing medications, how prescriptions are handled, etc. It's up to you to research what your own state laws are, but Florida is pretty lax, which is why there are so many HRT clinics here. Has nothing to do with the bloodwork numbers, simply the medical guidelines as dictated by state laws.

I live in Tx and our laws are somewhat lax, but the clinic I work with is based in FL and they are great!
I was referred to them from a prominent member/moderator on another forum/site and couldn't be happier. They work with a compounding pharmacy so they can get pretty much anything needed, for a good price. They also let me order 'extra' if I want. I self administer everything.
Hope that helpsLast edited by Termin8r27; 11-10-2010 at 08:47 AM.

Not that big of deal for me as I live in Florida but I was curious how that would work. I recently thought of trying to go that route simply becasue of the legality of it. I have had blood work done and should'nt have a problem qualifying. I did a search and found a few in south Florida, but not sure which ones would be the best. Anybody using any of them here in Florida that can make a recommendation? Also, just curiois if they make you give the bloodwork early in the morning or if they don't care?

lots of members use south fl clinics and most likely will hit u with a pm soon....bloodwork is usually done first thing in morn to catch your peak...are you borderline low and worried you wont qualify...clinics look more at symptoms and it would be best you know where you are so u can always have it to refer to and see where your therapy has put you....if you've only had one lab...i would suggest at least one more

Nope, just e-mail and talk by phone. I get my bloodwork drawn locally and they can write an order as a Dr. out of network for your insurance. My clinic is not nationwide, but a pretty widely known/used one and they service clients all over the country. They have or currently work with Sylvester Stallone as well.
Feel free to PM me and I can give you the name and contact info. They also give credits for referrals. =) You can draw blood whenever you want...but its best to get it drawn on an empty stomach where you have fasted for at least 8hrs, so most people usually get it drawn in the AM before they eat. I draw on day 6, AM after fasting.

O.k. I attempted to send you a pm already and saw where you posted on another similar thread. Thanks for the help. I haven't yet recieved a pm and not sure if you got mine...it may be because my post count is not yet high enough.

I just checked them again with no success. Must be a problem with it because I can send them and have gotten them in the past from ar-r regarding orders and what not, but it has been awhile since have been back on the board. Maybe a mod can help me out?????
