Hello. I'm new here_with a "test" question of which I can't find answer.
Hey Everybody!
Thanks for a terrific site-I've found some very helpful advice here. I'm a mid 50's fella, single dad of three kids, that does okay for an old boy. I'm in the process of my second (or 3rd, 4th...) "comeback" into moderate weight training and martial arts.
I've followed a pretty decent diet for awhile, I get regular medical checkups. Last year, I even had a (approximately) 1800 dollar "super" scan, stress-test, etc. (that I paid OUT OF POCKET for, because my insurance sucks big time), not due to symptoms, but wanting to be on the safe side before taking on any rigorous training program. I checked out well, but I fit almost every darn symptom of a low T condition.
The 64,000 question is whether there are any at-home tests for various hormone levels (eg. testosterone ; hcg ; hgh) that are valid and reliable tests. Maybe even to monitor levels, if not to used as an initial baseline measure. Any such thing? The reason I ask is that my insurance is so bad I'd pretty much pay out of pocket for any of this, and my kids come first.
Much thanks in advance, and thanks for an informative environment. I love this site!!

WELCOME!!! you came to a great place. As far as "in home" BW test...I have no idea. But you can order BW online with a few places like: Private meds dot net....and Life Extention Magazine too....if you want to see where you are just for the heck of it.
However there is a catch....let's say you get your results and then you want to go see a doc. A lot of docs then make you re-do the BW test. However...that being said, I understand there are online clinics which will accept your BW...
GLad you are here! This forum has some great guys who love to help out.

Try privatemdlabs.com. You can get their deluxe male panel for $149, and I can get you a 15% discount code on top of that if you think you're interested. Their ultimate panel covers a wider array of panels, but it's $299 (less the 15% of course). I'd suggest going with the pricier setup if you haven't taken these panels before, just so you cover the bases. It doesn't have GH, but I believe you can add that a la carte if desired.
