Family doc or antiaging clinic?
I know alot of guys on this board are seen by anti aging clinics. I was just curious, how much difference is there in the cost between the two? My endo wants me to go off test and try an hcg only hrt for a while and I am very happy with my current protocal of 100mg test a week while running 300iu hcg 3x a week. If I did go with one of these clinics and wanted to stay on a similar protocal how expensive would it be? Thanks...

the best info i could tell you is its very rare to use insurance with the clinics...they have you using compounding pharmacies and/but the cost is primarily cash/out of pocket....if you were also paying cash for your doctor/meds then the difference would be less noticeable and/but the less hassel that the clinics provide would be worth it...imo, i think they offer a fair price at the moment for what they offer in return
hope this helps and u can can just call a few and get prices up front and see for yourelf...i havent heard one being much better than the other theyre pretty competitive
good luck...
btw, dont like the hcg only idea

If you have an open minded progressive family doctor who would be up for what you want to do, then great. Reason being is that there would more than likely not be a huge costly start up fee. But if not progressive, not worth it.
Anti-aging docs from what I have experienced and others I know too, all get an up front consultation fee before they even start to prescribe anything. Most of this consultation is for educating the client. And then they proceed to order all kinds of BW and usually make you return for another consultation before prescribing. And they commonly use a compounding pharmacist where many docs get a kick back on this. As of yet, I have not seen many people get insurance with an anti-aging doc. They are a cash cow business. There are online clinics which will take your present BW and prescribe but they can be pricey too. Many are in Florida.
First I would start with your family doc...IF and IF your doc is an "out of the box" thinker. Otherwise....start looking! This is part of the process here for many of us.Last edited by SlimmerMe; 11-27-2010 at 10:14 AM.

Would love to but its been along time since I have been in that game. I cycled heavy between 1999 and 2003 but stoped when my son was born. They extra muscle is a nice side effect but is not my primary goal. I know finding a good source can be hard with all the fakes out there and I would only be interested in human grade stuff.
