    Another HCG question...

I was wondering if starting HCG would be a good idea for me. Right now I have only had one shot (200mg) of test about 18 days ago...why one?...why so long ago? Well its a long story but I am working with my doctor and we are not seeing eye-to-eye at the moment. If things don't change soon I will be administering my own test 125mg ew. I was just curious if you guys thought starting HCG now would boost my natural testorsterone production (currently low-t 316) and prove beneficial...

Is your doc going to do more blood work? They usually test you after a month and then make adjustments. My first month I only got 100MG and long story short I'm at 200MG a week now.

My doctor was very receptive to me giving him advice. He responded by threatening to take me off the test and put me on an antidepressant. I am currently looking at other alternatives. I am just wondering if in the meantime I should start some HCG .

That is a long interval between injections. I will say that my regular doctor thought that once a month test. injections would be good. I told him no...that the swing in levels would be too big over the course of a month. He just sort of looked at me like I had a third eye. He is young for a doctor and purports to concentrate in sports medicine, so he should be more aware of these issues. Anyway, glad my endo is treating me for now.

Is your doctor going to prescribe the HCG , or are you going another route?

Right now I am waiting for our first consultation. I sent him my physical and blood work this morning. Do you recommend the HCG from the start?

Most specialists in TRT recommend HCG even if you do not have shrinkage, because it keeps LH and other essential hormone production going, and helps with healthy testicular activity. I don't see how it can hurt, so if you can, it would be best to add the HCG. Now getting a regular doctor to prescribe HCG is another issue. You may have to meet with someone more specialized and "cooperative."

That is very intelligent and mature of him. All it demonstrates is that he has a God superiority complex, and he really doesn't care about treating you, just controlling you. Anyways, HCG is great ONLY if you're sure your condition isn't primary, meaning any testicular issues causing your low test to start with. If your testicles are responsive to LH, then they're going to love HCG!
