I am dealing with a local clinic here in Vegas. I am out of pocket as well, but it isn't prohibitively expensive. I will ask them if they do out of state scrips, but I doubt they do. I read in another thread that Life Extension Magazine has a state-by-state listing of clinics at their website but haven't checked it out because I am having good luck with my current doc.

    Good luck.

I suppose it is always good to have an excuse to come to Vegas a couple of times a year. :-)

Vetteman might chime in as he lives in CA and I believe knows of a few good one's out there.

I work with one out of state FWIW, I'm in TX and my clinic is in FL. Most of them that work with out of state patients as well tend to be in FL because of some of their looser laws.

Let me know if you can't find a local one (preferable) and I will refer you to mine in FL if need be.

Do it yourself. Looks like about $12.00 a month including pins. That cost would be for the typical
HRT clinics dosage of 200-300 mg monthly.

Frawnz do you mind if I ask who use in FL? Reliability is a big issue with me...by the way I'm in Florida.

Hmm, not sure what you're saying here. Are you saying most HRT clinics only prescribe 200-300mg of Testosterone a month? If so, I completely disagree and would say that is more of a weekly dosage you can expect from a clinic. If you meant to say weekly, then I would have to disagree with your cost estimate, as it'll run you quite a bit more than $12/month, even without pins. I'd say more between $60-100/month, depending on your dosage, which is still highly reasonable in my opinion.

I am currently on 200mg/week of test cyp. That is one ML per week. A 10ml bottle is $100 (or less), so my test cost is $10 a week. Pins were free at the pharmacy including extra 18g pins to pull with. I was surprised how cheep it is. I need blood work in a month or so, and eventually every six months.

I may eventually need something for estrogen, or HGC, but I don't know what they cost.

That would come to around $45/month. Most clinics are going to charge more than 100 bucks for a vial though, as that's how they make their money, plus there's usually a script fee as well (at least down here in FL) and shipping charges.

That 2 to 300 mg monthly is what the clinics in the Phoenix area usually use.
Their costs drove me to "do-it-yourself" position.
Cost as quoted on some sites $300.00 a month at that low dosage. In my case
125mg weekly shot my T level to
554H on a scale of 44-148 noting out of range. I also take DHEA 50mg. Earlier,
125mg every 2 weeks put me at 850 on a scale of 200 to 900. Other factors that
could influence results are my age, 75, weight 160 5'7", very highly conditioned.
The weekly dose of 125 caused testicle shrinkage, disturbing as I'm sexually active
but not with females even approaching my age! Bottom line; test and tinker, test
    and tinker.

$300/month for basic TRT from a clinic is outrageous. There are much better clinics out there, so I would keep looking around if I were you. It's not worth the risk of going to jail by getting it on your own without a script.

I agree with Franz and also want to point out the potential risk of being denied insurance coverage in the future should you get seriously ill down the road if your company finds out you self-medicated! Best to get the doctor's prescription from a reliable clinic.

I got a scrip and she told me to go to the Sam's Club that she refers all her clients to. They charge $60. I paid $97 so that I could use the pharmacy across the street from my house. She said if I need anything else she will phone in it in so that I don't need to pay for an office visit. Hopefully you can find a doc like mine.

There has to be more to the story. What kind of fees are you paying to her? Obviously she doesn't work for free, so she has to be making her money somehow.
