Very low free test...23 what do i do?
I was researching doing my first cycle, until i decided against it. I still went ahead and had a blood test done.. these are the numbers that came back
Testosterone , Serum 576 ng/dL 249-836
Free Testosterone(Direct) 10.9 pg/mL 9.3-26.5 02
According to my research on here and online a person my age should be atleast 50 pg/ml. According to another website a 80 year old male has 9.6 pg/ml. So do i seriously have the test levels of a 80 year old man? What do i need to do here? See a endocrinologist?
Edit: I am ALWAYS tired, and never really feel like doing muchLast edited by Lynx331; 01-17-2011 at 08:27 PM.

LabCorp now offers an enhanced accuracy testosterone test
specifically designed for lower testosterone levels
(test #070001; Testosterone, Total, Women, Children and
Hypogonadal Males, LC/MS-MS). CDC and several academic
societies recommend improved testosterone tests for women,
children, and hypogonadal males and should be performed
using test #070001.

id have to say atleast since 2007. After high school i went to a trade school, working full time and school full time. Right after that i noticed i was tired all the time... i figured oh i must just be sleep deprived from two years of little sleep. But looking back now.. it never rebounded.. My symptoms would include, some depression i think, lack of motivation, and just tired all the time. I never really put all this together until recently..

Doesn't appear so to me.. Free Test is low side of normal range and total test is middle of normal range. For comparison, my total test was 210. So, it depends on symptoms. What are your goals exactly? You have lack of motivation and you are tired? Could be lots of things. Talk to a doctor.
