Does insurance cover HRT?
Just wondering if people are actually paying for the doctor visits, bloodwork and the cost of scripts or if they are able to get insurance to cover it?

In my case, Yes! I go to a specialist not those online clinics.

My insurance pays for my blood work and my scrips, my Dr. however is not in my insurance group so I pay him but he is very, very reasonable.

I have an appointment with an endo on Feb 9th. If they think I need HRT I am hoping insurance picks up the tap.

Call your insurance company to find out what they actually cover and how often for each visit.

Kaiser really discourages it. However, I was able develop a cover story they bought... I said I had no libido and my woman wasn't going to put up with it, so that's how I got it going

Mine does, but I presented symptoms to my primary care doctor who then had a endo do further investigation. My insurance is, for now, also pretty good compared to what many people have now. I do have fairly good sized co-pays for meds. and for out of the ordinary tests....so it isn't "free".

It's good that you guys have insurance cover it, I don't. I pay around a couple hundred a month for doctor's visits, doses and lab work. To tell you the truth, I would pay double or triple for it. It's really changed my life.
