    Thyroid medication

Hello, I am on thyroid hormones, Cytomel T3, and i now that i should take it on empty stomach, because of absorbtion. But can i take with T3 instead of meal for example Aminos tablets? Will this still hurt absobtion? Thank you.

As long as there are no heavy medals in the supplements you are fine.

The truth is, that there are few medications that you truly need to take on an empty stomach. Food may slow the absorbtion, but it is still going to get absorbed.

Every person is different. I used T4 for ten years and I know fully well that my labs were screwed up at times when I ate breakfast before taking the T4.

Yeah, it says b/w 1/2 hour and 1 hour. Everybody is different. 1/2 isn't enough for me.
