    Carpal Tunnel related to HRT?

Found some interesting info today while looking up natural Carpal tunnel relief... According to altmedicine, in several research studies, vitamin B6 deficiency has been linked to carpal tunnel syndrome. Risk factors include: diet lacking in B6, Yellow dye, stress, and use of oral contraceptives or HRT.... That's what caught my attention... I've been on HRT for about 4 months now, and I'd say over the last month my left hand has really been acting up with carpal tunnel (I had surgery on my right hand for it a few years ago) What I'm wondering is if the TRT caused a B6 deficiency and if anyone else has heard of this or experienced it. Don't get me wrong TRT is the best thing to happen to me, and I won't stop, I just am going to get my levels checked and supplement as needed.

Thanks! Yeah I found this really interesting... The more I'm reading I see that sometimes B-12 injections can help with carpal tunnel too...

This is news to me also. I had always known it to be caused from repetitive motion injuries.

Is there a possibility that the use of HRT may increase the sex drive so much that the
patient developes the syndrome via too much pud pulling? Maybe tennis elbow also.

    Lookup progesterone ad carpel tunnel..

From what I have seen it is the lack of progesterone in conventional hrt for women that seemed to be a problem, when it was added symptoms subsided.

Ah.. interesting... so it really shouldn't affect a male on TRT then? Thanks for the info! On another positive note, I've started taking Mythlcobalamin B-12 5,000mcg a day and the carpel tunnel is showing improvement... still going to the doc to probably get it taken care of with surgery, but it's helped in the meantime to minimize the pain and numbness..

Could you imagine going to the doctor with tennis elbow caused by mass-debating way too much while on HRT? You couldn't be truthful with the cause of the injury.
