25, sharing bloodwork results/ potential HRT
Backround
Without getting too much into it, I've always felt like i might have lower test, even before i touched anything. I did one cycle in my life which had test, it was also my last, back in 2008 250mgs test e/wk 12 week.
That cycle blew my mind, 250 test completely changed how i felt. The gym benifits were secondary for me, my mind cleared up, mood was great every day, much increased efficiency in my work and social life, woke up everyday feeling great. To sum it up, everything felt clear as opposed to fuzzy.
So fast forward to a few months ago still had the feeling i wanted to go back on test, at this point ive been off for over 2 years. I know that cycling really wasn't for me, if i were to touch anything ever again, a low dose hrt route would be the way i want to go.
I made an appt with a hormone doctor and got the blood work done. Ive attatched the results, but here are the mains stats:
Test- 511
free test- 13.4
androstane- 614
estrogen- 46.7
DHT- 41.
All of these are pretty bad for a healthy, active 25 about to be 26 y old male, and when you take into consideration the symptoms i have, the doc feels i could benifit from test therapy.
The interesting thing is i have very high iron levels. the doc feels my hormone problems could stem from this.
Iron serum-185
iron saturation- 63.
He has told me i could suffer from hemochromatosis and intructed me to see a specialist. If this is not the cause, then he feels i could be placed on test gel from a compounding pharmacy
Questions
1) Does hemochromatosis have a signifigant enought effect that it would cause my hormone problems
2) Are my test and hormone levels low enough to potentially justify me going on some form of HRT, i realize theyre not THAT low but the doc says at 25 i should be closer to the 700 level and my body may require more test than others
Thank you all.
