Prescription Refill Dilemma
So I've been doing the HRT for two months now, had 2nd blood work, etc.
During first visit doc gave me prescription for Test Cyp, do 100mg/wk so the bottle will last 20 weeks. The prescription allows for one refill before 7/2011.
Second doc visit 10 weeks later. Doc gives another prescription for another bottle of T and one refill allowed on that prescription between now and 9/2011. Actually calls it into pharmacy so I go pick up the new bottle. Still have 10 weeks of T in first bottle. Have new bottle good for 20 more weeks. So I'm sitting on 30 weeks of T at current protocol. Plus I can refill the new prescription and possibly even refill the previous prescription. Next appointment is in 26 when doc will undoubtedly write another prescription.
So first thing I am wondering is does the doc get notified when I refill a prescription? Can I refill the 1st prescription or does the 2nd prescription wipe that one out?
Other thing I'm wondering is which shoulder to listen to:
I have the devil on one shoulder . . . "blast and cruise!"
The little angel on the other shoulder . . . "maintain constant hormone levels"
I think a 10 week blast or something might just be the ticket to really cram some good growth and get the body fat % down more quickly. I have dropped 6% bf in the past 2 months. Lost no weight, but dropped 6% off my body fat percentage.
If I do blast, is 10 weeks a good number or is shorter better?
Do I need to concern myself with a PCT since I will cruise at normal 100mg/week of T after the blast?
Maybe I should ask to be talked out of this silly notion.
Comments?

26 weeks till next appt, i would blast and no pct is required so long as your cruising on a prescribed dose.
just give yourself eough time to let bloods stabilize before you see the doc again

Forgot to ask in my original post. Given that my current script is 50 mg/week of T pinned twice a week, and 250 IU of HCG twice a week, what would constitute a good amount for a blast? I don't have extra HCG so I am only increasing the T.

I would do it, but I would wait until you stop seeing the gains you are making on 100/week. Then I would up it to 200 and so on, by that time you will have more rx's to save up with and your frequency of b/w should be less - AND, I would wait until you and your body have figured out the whole trt thing before going over 200. Remember, trt is for life, so you should try and figure that part out first imo.

Part of the original quest was, "will my doc know I refilled my first prescription after he wrote the 2nd one, and will the pharmacy even refil the first one or did the second prescription cancel that out?"

I have been on this board a long time and I have never heard of a pharmacy calling the doctor. Now they do call your insurance to make sure they get paid.

Having not done this myself (only read), shouldn't he have an AI on hand in case he starts getting estrogen affects if he does go forward with the "blast"?

yeah same here all that stuff is in a database, but then here is the kicker so I went to a pharmacy had my script filled then my insurance company called me and said they wanted me to use a online pharmacy (ie mail order) so I said ok. Next thing you know I have another 10M vial coming today so they didn't check the database (which I think is the issue here). Funny thing is that the rep I spoke with went into my file and I could hear her saying "Hummm looks like he got this filled at pharmacy" but no response and god knows I'm not going to say "oh no I have plenty TEST dont send me anymore"

Usually, chain pharmacies will look at your dosing & do the math. If you're too early, they wont fill it. Plus, if you go through a script plan, the computer will automatically kick it back as being too early. At least that's how it works for me. Besides, if you think about it, pharmacies have to make reports to the DEA on this compound and are very careful as they dont want to get red-flagged. Early refills might happen, but you will be caught eventually. I had one CVS who used to call the Dr.s office everytime I submitted a new script. IMO, I wouldnt want to jeopardize the doctor-patient realtionship I have...
