    Current blood test results

Personally, I always like to see people's blood test results in correlation to their TRT protocol. I know everyone is different and what works for one, doesn't necessarily work for another. But it always good (IMO) to see experience and numbers.

Just a quick background. Last bloodwork was done 6 months ago. At that time, I was taking 200mg Test Cyp a week and no AI.

I'm not going to post everything (CMP, etc.). Everything came back perfect. Hormone panel is as follows:

    Testosterone , serum - 942 - 249-836 (Last BW - 1067)
    Free Testosterone (Direct) - 27.3 - 9.3-26.5 (Last BW - 33.0)
    SHBG, Serum - 20.5 - 14.5-48.4 (Last BW - 13)
    Estradiol - 28.7 - 7.6-42.6 (Last BW - 75.8)

    LH - 0.1 - 1.7-8.6 (Last BW - Same)
    FSH - 0.2 - 1.5-12.4 (Last BW - Same)

LH and FSH are low because, basically, I'm shut down right?

Two things that came back HIGH

    Hemoglobin - 17.2 - 12.5-17.0 (Last BW - 16.8)
    BUN - 23 - 6-20 (Last BW - 21)

Doctor didn't say anything about BUN (Haven't researched it yet). He said the Hemoglobin and Hematocrit are HIGH (and higher) because of being on TRT. He recommended I donate blood every 4 months or so.

    Improvements from last blood work:

    TSH - 3.160 - .450-4.5 (Last BW - 4.730)
    PSA - .8 - 0.0-4.0 (Last BW - 1.4 - Dropped due to a drop in Estrogen)

My protocol in relation to this blood work (Current):

    Test Cyp - 80mg 2x a week (160mg Total)
    HCG - 500iu 2x a week
    Arimidex - .5mg 3x a week

The only thing I'd like to change is to maybe get my Estradiol down to 20. I have a couple options. I can either drop my test dose a little because even though I like where I'm at now (900s), I could probably give up a little and still feel great. Plus, I would be able to stretch out each vial a little longer.

Or, I can take arimidex EOD at .5mg. All in all, I like where I'm at. The only difference I can tell in my Estradiol being lower, is I'm really DRY. I look at pictures before and I can tell I was holding water compared to now. Other than that, I wasn't having any sexual sides or other physical problems. Plus, the obvious improvement in my PSA.

And yes, I'm taking my foot out of my mouth about my post weeks ago about not wanting to take an AI. I see its purpose and its benefits and the fact that its needed. Just trying to learn more and more everyday.

THanks jpk. I just researched BUN and its in relation to kidney function. I left my doctor a message to call me back. I don't have any symptoms however or high BUN levels or kidney impairment.

Good numbers, not sure why you want to lower your E2 from 28 to 20?

In relation to the BUN test, did they check your creatine levels? Elevated creatine can sometimes cause some stress on the kidneys.

not a good idea to lower e2 to that level, mine got to 18 and my bones/muscles got really sore and it dried my skin. not a good feeling! actually 28 is great!

Not necessarily 20, but maybe a little lower. I don't know, I always hear people talk about trying to get e2 to 20, so I just use that as a baseline.

Talked to doc about BUN numbers and he didn't seem concerned at all. Creatine levels were checked and they were in the normal range. He said if the BUN level was above 30, then there would be a concern. As far as symptoms go, I feel fine.

BUN is increased due to increased protein metabolism due to your TRT. Nothing at all to be concerned about at the level you posted.
