Reusing HCG Mixing Vials

Are there any reasons not to reuse an HCG mixing vial? Can the left over residue contaminate the new stuff in anyway? Same thing with the bacteriostatic water for that matter. I only used a small amount last time I mixed, so I'm wondering if I can use what I've got. I know it's in a sealed vial but I did stick the same needle I used to mix the HCG in it. I keep hearing about how fragile the HCG molecule is and I'm just wondering how anal I need to be with this stuff. After all $10 is $10 and I'm already paying out of pocket for all my other meds.

Never reused the vial.It would maybe be ok to reuse if the stopper is not torn up from previous use.But I am still using the bac water from before.I just leave it in the fridge.

Good questions, I wouldn't reuse a vial but I do keep the bacto water for multiple uses.....not sure if I should.....maybe someone will correct us if we're wrong on that.

Hmmmm, my hCG prescription comes with the vial that has the white powder in it to which I add bacto water, and a vial of bacto waters. No seperate mixing vial.

This is all in the same box. Box says Novarel on it. There is nothing to reuse, since I'll get everything when I refill my prescription.

Oh, the box says "for intramuscular use only". Like that is going to happen. Subq all the way for me.

Once you reconstitute your hCG and use it up throw the vial away.

As for Bacto water; as long as you are using a sterile needled each time when introduced into the vial you can reuse the water till it's emptied.
