Anybody have any recommendations for a HRT clinic
I heard Maximus HRT was good. Has anybody ever used them before?

Highly recommended. There's several here that use them and I've never heard any complaints.

I go through a Urologist. I find them to be FAR more competent than endo's.
Endos are very concerned with "normal" blood values, even if you fall into the piss poor end of them.
Urologists like to have patients in the ideal part of the ranges, as more than anything they want you to have rock hard erections, which is their primary concern. For this they obviously want you to have the best blood values possible too.
An example of an issue is high conversion to Estradiol, E2, from TRT.
Often endos will not prescribe AI's.
When I started getting E2 issues, sensitive nipples, retaining water, and was having trouble getting and keeping fully hard, it only too one phone call to my Urologist and he got me a script for Anastrozole right away, just knowing the symptoms I listed all sounded like textbook high E2, and then wants me to come in for a blood test 3 weeks from now to make sure we did not drive it too low/ drove the E2 low enough.
In his words "if for any reason you are not getting wood like an steel beam you let me know and we deal with it right away".
MUCH better attitude than Endos I have delt with.Last edited by meathead320; 05-21-2011 at 06:53 PM.

If you want real medical care, I recommend a local doctor that you can establish a relationship with. Having said that, I know several people happy with Maximus. Just reinforcing the opinions above.

I go to a clinic, but not Maximus, and my doc and I have a good professional relationship. I attribute this more to my doc than clinic, but I have been very happy with him. A phone call gets my AI prescription changed, no bill, and stuff like that.

There are more clinics in florida, one of which has branches in a few other states as well. Might be worth it to check more than one to get a cost comparison.
