Excessive sweating
Would anything be causing me to excessively sweat in the gym? My shirt comes out looking like I sat in the sauna. And I also have noticed a different smell also. I mean I have always been someone who sweats a lot but has been a lot more since starting TRT. Anybody have any ideas?

I smell very different and sweat a lot more since being on TRT. My g/f says it's like sleeping next to a nuclear reactor. I am not too sure why, but maybe just the body being in a different hormonal state?

I started sweating more as well. hardly ever used to sweat before and never had BO. No I can smell myself, only slightly, but still more than before. Now I smell more, *manly*!

My sweating has gone up as well, and I really hope I don't smell more....

Does this all level off with time, or is this pretty much standard while on TRT?

I honestly don't see any difference. Sweat in the gym is about the same pre-TRT.
I guess the bigger question here is *why?* would increased Test levels cause the body to excrete more sweat.

I'm a sweaty bastard when in the gym and havent noticed any increase as far as that but what I did notice early in my HRT was what I would call OILY skin, at first I did wonder why I was so sweaty but it really was just oily skin, I'm not sure why but it went away after a while but now that I started Deca I have it again, hard to describe.....not really sweating but feel like I have been sweating all day. Some sort of progestin side effect? What about higher E2, will that cause it?

I hardly sweated at all before TRT, now I sweat a more during workouts and on hot days. In my case, pre-TRT my E2 was at 4. This extremely low E2 meant I was holding no water. Now my E2 is in the 20's, and I have more water to sweat out when I workout.

The water retention might be it. I have always had a problem with water retention. I did pick up some Vitamin A and B5 to help with the oily skin. I heard that will help combat the acne also. Going to give it a shot and see if I get any results.
